Zhuo rose, placing his hands behind his back.

"Take you for example. Surely you cannot be content with leading some small town around here? Hmmm? Now perhaps I'd be worried about you as a competitor, but how can I be since this is only a stepping stone for myself for greater things. Perhaps if you play your cards right, you may ride upon my success."

She giggles, blushing slightly at his comments. "Surely you jest, me? A competitor? How could I even begin to compare to you?" Wen Luan sits quietly as he talks, not wanting to interrupt his good time, picking out bits of information about the man as he ranted.

IF Zhou Zhuo does not finish talking within three hours, Wen Luan is to politely pop into the conversation with a "I'm sorry sir, I am not able to stay any longer, I thank you for your wonderful hospitality and I will definately see you again"

Qiao Sen halted before Pyu Pyu as she acknowledged her arrival. She gazed up at her a moment more. Her expression went from 'pissed-off-looking' to 'neutral' as Pyu spoke, and for a slight moment it'd seem her lips curved up in a smile that only lasted for 2 seconds before becoming overcome with impassiveness yet again. Qiao Sen was indeed quite joyed to have seen the elder woman after a little while. Look at her now, on the road to greatness. "If you wish it." Might be hard, however she simply agreed just before Pyu went to go and tend to the rest of the newcomers. Qiao Sen turned to have a good look of the crowd, quite a few had shown, that was supposedly a good sign, although she wasn't the best 'people person'.. if not the worst.

After a few hours, Niangzi had lost the sleep she had fallen into, mainly because her wounds were catching up to her, and the pain was keeping her from a peaceful sleep. Still, she forced her eye shut and refused to look at her body any longer, figuring it would all be over soon enough, and no longer would she have to feel any more pain. A while had passed, however, and her shut eye could feel the shadow coming toward her that blocked out the sun on the horizon. Grudgingly, she opened her eye, her vision taking longer than usual to adjust enough to see who it was that came her way.

She watched curiously as this girl approached her, as if examining her broken down body. Perhaps it was this girl who would end her pain permanently after all; with Shaonu laying on the floor and out of the immediate reach of her hand, this girl would have no problem killing her right here and now. It would not be as Niangzi expected it to happen, but if it could be done sooner she would not complain about it. The situation, however, quickly took a turn as the girl seemed more interested in healing her rather than killing her. She said the first thing that came to mind to try and get rid of her.
My feet already have band-... but a quick look at her own feet made Niangzi realize that she no longer had any bandages on them. They were probably left on the road as she was walking half unconsciously.

The girl had just finished bandaging her bleeding feet, but Niangzi only kept squinting her eye at her, almost angrily. I was supposed to be breaking myself down. She reached for her steel beside her, still sheathed, and addressed the girl.
Who the hell are you and why are you doing this to me? I don't remember your face so I doubt I owe you money. She turned her head sideways from the girl and stared into empty space. I'm not providing my "services" any longer, if that's what you came here seeking. The girl was rather cute too; it was too bad Niangzi had to pass up the chance because she was more focused on how she would die rather than on how she could live. She sighed deeply and closed her eye once more, resting her head against the tree trunk once more, waiting to see what the girl would do.

Hu Kang, dressed in a simple brown robe with his clasped hands in his sleeves in front of him, was next to arrive, not long after the peasant man. He introduced himself to the guard, explaining he had business with Wen Luan. He had an air of serenity about him as he scanned those gathered until he found his sworn brother. He stood beside him, if he wasn't stopped on the way, smiling absently as he watched the others, quietly giving the man extra company during the wait. He nodded politely to Wen Luan but said nothing unless addressed.

The young lady quickly returned the bow, and smiled. "Oh, the trip was just fine, miss Wen Luan" she replied with a light clearing of her throat. Afterall, the soreness from four hours on the saddle had just about subsided.. silently she wished she had praticed horseriding more often in her younger days. she seems nice enough Ding thought as she obediently made her way into the main hall, where she glanced at the faces in the crowd. Ok socialise, socialise.. Ding prepared herself mentally. Taking a small breath, she walked toward someone and asked, "Excuse me, do you know much about miss Wen Luan...?

The youth straightened and dropped his hands by his sides as the richly garbed lady approached. He wobbled as he gave a hasty bow to her and then nodded, seemingly dumb funded, and muttered in reply: "Yes, yes, thank you, Lady Wen." He bowed to her again, a little more stably this time, and then recalled himself: "Oh! I'm, ah, Zhu Ping, Lady Wen. Thanks for offering me a job an' all."

When the lady's attention had been diverted to someone else, as Ping seemed content just to stare at her in seeming awe, he elbowed Kang in the ribs and muttered from the corner of his mouth. "She's even hotter close up!" But his attention was soon diverted as someone else approached him after the retreat of Lady Wen...

"Woah, ho-hello!" Hotgirlhotgirlhotgirltalkingtome - Ping's mind raced faster than his mouth could move to express such thoughts, and perhaps it was a positive limitation, but he did give a big friendly smile to the woman. "Lady Wen? Yes! Well, no, not really. She just offered me a job training horses." He lifted a hand to the back of his head and rubbed his neck while giving a small, awkward laugh. "I'm Zhu Ping, by the way." He gave a quick bow, seeming unpractised in the art of it, before he straightened and grinned at her jovially. "My friends call me Yě shēng zhì (Wild Stallion) - but I'm not really all that wild! Pretty nice, actually, huh, Kang?" He elbowed the man next to him, not even seeming to realise that he hadn't introduced him, without even glancing away from the woman. "I could teach you some horse riding tricks, sometime, if you want...So what brings you here? At this meeting, I mean? You sure are cute." He didn't seem to realise how inappropriate his blunt comment on her appearance actually was as he watched her with a happy little smile on his face which almost matched the one his comrade had walked in wearing.

Qiao Sen quivered in annoyance upon the woman's reactions. Perhaps she should have just killed her and been somewhat satisfied, however, she decided against it for reasons unknown. Either way, this woman was probably just as stubborn as she was.. it wasn't all to bad though, at least Qiao Sen would know how to deal with her. She lingered over to the woman's blade upon the ground and held it under her foot securing it.. just in case. "I don't go around seeking out filthy broads.." She bluntly stated, with her hands clasped behind her back. She seldom put up with this and usually retorted back like so before getting too angry. She took her foot off the woman's sword after a little while assuming she was just too weary to have cut her down. "I heal and kill whomever I desire. I doubt my alias matters much to you." She stated through her teeth, it'd seem the woman was suffering already as it is now; she didn't think to take her life anymore. Either way, Qiao Sen knelt before the girl yet again, she dug deep this time, she addressed the obvious. "You've accepted your fate. Your fate that involves death.. yes, the sting of death that will cease your existence forevermore. Is that truly what you want?" Qiao Sen asked her boldly, the woman's choice however, made no difference whatsoever to her. As to why she's even taking the time to even talk was beyond her. "..or rather you'd have a second wind.." It was all too obvious that the stranger was in terrible shape and has gone through obstacles unimaginable. She observantly brought the woman's nearest palm to her lips with careful hands for the most accurate reading of her temperature out here. "You're cold." Qiao Sen stated a matter a factly with a very slight grin that only lasted a moment.

That was all she needed to know and with that stood back unto her feet brushing off the dust upon her long robes. She hadn't really 'fixed up' anyone in quite a while.. perhaps it would explain her eagerness to help. "Qiao Dazai." She finally introduced herself whilst returning her folded hands behind her back. "The choice is yours to make, broad. Your time is limited." She motioned to her carriage escort signaling that her time here from now on would be very short. Or in other words he'd better be ready when she's back.

[Tzar]

The harshness with which Niangzi was addressed made her mad enough to get up and confront this girl. Who the hell did this girl think she was anyway, talking to Pojian of the South like that? As she was halfway to getting up, however, she sighed and lost all the anger she had. Ahh... what's the use... She slowly got back down on the ground and reached for her bag hanging from her belt. She took out a small jade object, put some herbs in one end of it and placed it on her mouth. Then she reached for her bag again and took out a small black rock and a short knife. She did not point the knife at the girl though, rather she struck the rock against the knife just above the jade object she held tightly with her lips. After a few tries, sparks came out of the striking and ignited the herbs she placed on the jade piece. She took a deep breath and as she exhaled, smoke came out of her mouth. After her temporary moment of joy had passed, she put all of her stuff away inside her bag.

I want my life back... she said as she looked at the curious girl. My wealth, my fame... there's no way for me to regain all of it after what I've been through. She turned her head upward and closed her eye, trying to go back to a moment in her past she could enjoy before she was no longer a part of this world. Instead, this girl was now asking her to give up on her deathwish and continue with her life. Ninagzi had no idea what it was she had in mind that could possibly make use of any of her abilities, but the ambiguity she showed about it was enough to peak Niangzi's interest. If you can help me get it all back, or maybe even take a first step toward it, I will follow you. Using her sheathed blade to help herself up off the ground, she stood on her feet, which did not hurt as bad as they did a few hours ago, and walked toward the carriage Qiao Dazai motioned to. Niangzi nodded at her, thinking that if it was anything too horrible to endure, she could always come back here and try to die peacefully again.

When she got close enough to the carriage, she noticed the man who would be escorting them. He seemed restless, almost frightened, hopefully nothing caused by Niangzi or so she hoped. She looked at him as she made her way inside and asked in the most coy manner she could. Where to?

Wild Wolf:

"Hm." Qiao Sen turned her back upon the woman as she thought over it slight. How elementary.. Qiao Sen had the answers to it all, must everything be so easy for her? She watched her escort scurry about to ready things when suddenly the smoke that the woman had seem to be inhaling rose to her senses. She immediately placed a sleeved hand over her mouth with the immense feeling to want to vomit, but she fought against it successfully. She was utterly sickened by any drug or alcohol, her calmed exterior changed to that of anger in only a split moment; not all too intense though this time. Qiao Sen turned to the woman who enjoyed her little stimulant with a dissatisfied expression.. "You shall die before then if this persist." Who knows if she meant by herself of the actual thing..

"Your wishes can easily be done.." She finally consented to actually helping her. It was barely any work on her part anyway, why not see to this? As the woman finally lifted herself from the ground, Qiao Sen headed for the carriage as well. "..so you -will- follow me, my exploits, and--" She halted and thought over a few things and before settling within the carriage again she eyed the weary driver. "Back to town." As they begin to proceed on at a steady pace she continued speaking.. "..you will meet Wen Luan today, we are on our way to Yongzi. From there, your new life begins.."

Their travels were not all too long, no more than two hours. The majority of the time Qiao Sen spent reading to herself as she held her small glasses to her eyes. So in all, it was probably quite boring those few hours were.. As they finally arrived within the city however, thereafter being notified by the escort, Qiao Sen stepped out and awaited the newcomer.
