Receiving Wu Chen's summons to Julu, Maoshi thought it best to treat the letter with the greatest of haste. From Gaoping he saddled his horse and rode out, possibly even passing up the courtier who had delivered the message. Saddling his horse up at a privately owned stable near the city he continued on foot. At the gates of the audience hall he gave the guards a bow before returning the parchment to the guards on duty. "I have been ordered to appear before the King Wu Chen, I am Maoshi Zansu."

The guards bowed to the man, they were told to watch for him. Not taking any time with formalities the guard captain said, "Just give us your weapons my lord and we shall allow you in."

The guards finished their searches, and began to escort the man through the palace in Julu (assuming he follows). As they neared the king's audience hall, six guards halted them at the door. The guard escorting the governor, presented his seal and the door was opened to a large room. Along the walls were several guards and at the end of the hall was a low wall that seperated the room from Wu Chen, who sat high behind the wall on his throne. Behind the wall were several guards armed with bows. Wu Chen looked down at his guest and instructed him to halt 10 paces in.

"Governor, it is an honor to meet you in person. Please sit."

Wu Chen watched as the man sat silently without bowing or acknowledging him, perhaps this man was not one for formalities or manners. No matter, he would soon have to polish both if he wished to retain his title. "Governor Chen, as you know, I am King in this Zhao province. As such, I must secure the loyalties of all inside my province. I lack knowledge of your current oaths or bonds but I am going to offer you one now. Swear your loyalty to the one true King of Zhao. By doing this you swear to provide what assistance you can to me and I will protect you. What say you?"

Maoshi Zansu had left his spear at the stable and only carried a short blade at his side, which he gladly relinquished to the guards.

Maoshi Zansu was taken before the king, following the various checks and what not between the guards. He was instructed to stop 10 paces into the room. Wu Chen smiled as he saw the man enter, "Ah Welcome Governor Maoshi. Please sit."

Chen: I am already your servent. My town and troops joined in the attack at julu and yan yu and now I am one with lu yings forces. my town is hers, andas itis hers itis in a way yours
