The Guard motioned towards a table where other weapons layed. While the other guard stepped aside and allowed entrance to the inner garden where Pang Li sat barefooted meditating and enjoying the what could the final hospitable days of fall before winter sat in.

Giving a nod, Guang walked over to the table and placed his spear upon it, then made his way into the garden. He treaded softly; not wanting to disturb the man meditating. He came within several feet put did not say anything. Instead he resigned himself to gaze at the tranquil beauty of the garden until Pang Li felt his precense...

"Greetings. I am Taishi Guang, Marquis of Changsha," the man replied, bowing politely in turn. "I come to you today, to speak of the menace that is Yi Lian..."

Young and Grey, Pang Li couldn't but help let out a smirk he was impressed by this man coming in person into a foreign domain and being so honest about his intentions. In a world that is little more than pleasantries and talk that danced around the point the was truly a breath of fresh air.

A wiser man would be more careful with his intentions. Or perhaps it isn’t wisdom that you lack, perhaps everyone else lacks something you have. Either way I know of only good deeds of the Marquis Yi’s doings, she has aided the fallen city of Huaiyin doing all she can to rebuild the way it was before those vile soldiers ransacked it. And she has allowed me to govern my little section of Juijiang in relative peace. I haven’t had to chance to personally meet her but so far I can say only good things. What makes you think she is a menace to the land?

"Well, I would first like to say that I do understand your position, Prefect Pang. I understand that you wish to ensure both the safety and welfare of the people under your care." Giving a sigh, Guang gazed into the Prefect's eyes, knowing that this man was perhaps another lost cause... just like Lin Xin. "However, how can you ensure their security with an aggressive war-mongorer at your doorstep?"

I have spoken to an envoy of the good marquis and we have an agreement on who’s territory is who’s and so far it has kept the peace, I will not go against my word and start an unnecessary fight. I am more concerned with Chu expansion anyway in fact I believe I will have to call on the good Marquis’s help to have any hope of repelling them. I am sorry, but the fact is Yi Lian has been nothing but good to Heaven’s Orchard and unless something changes I cannot support this kind of talk. If this is your only reason for coming to Dongcheng then I am afraid you have made your trip in vain.

Pang Li could feel the negative energy in the garden He felt this Taishi Guang was a good man who deep down only wanted what he thought was best for the Greater Good. He knew he could support an offensive against Yi Lian, he could however offer aid in his homeland.

However I have heard that Changsha itself is in disarray with brigands moving freely taking what they like. Should you yourself need help dealing with them then Heaven’s Orchard will help. Our armies aren’t massive and our equipment is shoddy at best, but we fight with purpose should you need us in matters that don’t concern the good Marquis you have our full support.

"My apologies," the warrior responded, bowing his head. Yet again, Yi Lian had secured an ally. Although he did not want to admit it, it was appearing that this fight was to be his and his alone. "As far as Changsha, I do not require aid at this time, Prefect Pang. However, I shall soon start a campaign to eradicate those brigands and bandits who have been bleeding the people of Changsha dry..."

'The same bandits who fight for Yi Lian', he thought to himself. "I appreciate your offer of aid, and I shall extend the same offer to you and Jiujiang. But for now, I must retire to Changsha to plan it's defenses. Thank you for your hospitality." Bowing again to Pang Li, Guang then turned about and prepared to leave for his homeland.

With a sense of completeness, and a loss formalities Pang Li dropped his Leader act, brandished a smile, waved a bit, and eventually turned his hands giving a thumbs up

Good Luck, Marquis Taishi! I am cheering for you! Heaven now knows your plight and smiles upon you.

OOC: I am not sure if they had thumbs up in the day and if its meant with same conotation as it does today in america, but it they did and it was a profane gesture please don't hold it against me Pang Li means you best of luck against those mercs.

Liu Yin: This Pang Li seems like a decent man I want to meet him.
