Looking down and looking a bit ashamed he spoke very softly.
"I will help you for as long as I see I need to. I will warn you that I am not one for staying in one place for long. If you wish I will join with you until the day I see fit to leave, is this acceptable?"

Jang cracked a smile as he nodded a little disappointed in the response.

"That will be very kind of you master Zhu, I hope it would do my brother proud to see us fighting alongside each other."

Zhou Liang finally arrived to the palace, the trip took him longer then he had expected, mainly because he knew not the layout of this area. It had been 5 days now since he met Rou Jang, and he made sure to make a better impression then he did back then. He shaved before leaving, took at least a bath per day, which was not in his habits usually. He even took out the clothes that he was using back when he was a bandit leader. Originally it was ment to show his status as capitain amongst the rising rebellion forces of his proces. But fate decided otherwise. The day the rebellion would rise, it was already dissoled by the fright of the masses towards their lord. He never wore it again, as it reminded some nasty bits of his past, at least until now. He decided to suppress his feelings of unease and guilt in order to wear them, not that he had much choice, those were his only "presentable" clothes. So dressed in a white kimono covered by a floral overcoat, along with a basic straw hat, the young man proceeded towards the audience hall.

Oi! I'm Zhou Liang, I'm unarmed and I'm her' to enlist. Rou Jang is aware of my arrival... Ye know him I think.

He said to the guards at the gate as he waved at them. His pose unintentionnally was perfect to show that he bore not obvious weapons.

"We have been alerted to your attendance. We will escort you to Ka Ne." One of the bade him follow, and lead him to a small study. Within sat the bald, goatee individual that ran the Brotherhood, or one who looked very like him. Looking up, he noticed the visitors and gave his trademark grin, knowing and confident. "Welcome, welcome Master Zhou. Prelate Rou indicated to me you would be visiting. How may I assist you today?" He signaled for some tea, and waited for the man to speak.

He followed the guards expecting to see the ladyship. He did not hide however his disapointment when , in the place of a beautifull young lady, he ended up face to face with a grinning man. He quickly regained his composure and waved at the man.

Jang was on patrol in the palace when he heard talk about a newcomer to the capital. With due hast Jang sprinted to the main gate of the palace only to find the guards standing there on duty.

"You men tell me where is the man who came seeking me?"

The guard pointed back to lord Ka Ne's office, with that Jang sprinted to the office as fast as he could. Upon arriving jang knocked on the door and opened to give forewarning to his arrival. Looking around the room Jang sees his friend Zhou Liang and lord Marquis Ka Ne's sitting down and talking.

"All master Zhou Liang it’s a pleasure to see you have arrived. I have been anticipating your arrival, I’m sorry I was not at the door to greet you but I was on patrol duty. You might not know this but someone has attempted on are lady Duchess Rui Jiao Jin life. She right now is bed ridden and can’t see any one.......she was injured very badly."

Jang bowed to his friend after he finished talking.

"I’m sorry master Zhou Liang I did promise you would be able to meet are lady but as it stands she is greatly in need of rest. I do promise you soon when she is feeling better you will be able to meet her and talk to her."

jang looked down at the floor and shook his head.

"Sadly the pathetic excuse of a man got away but we have several suspects form a previous attempt that we are looking into...and I will see to it personally that they pay for what they did to the kindhearted lady Rui Jiao Jin."

jang clenched his fist then released his grip .

"But that will be taken care of at a later time, I’m guessing you decided to take me up on the offer of joining my lady. if you have indeed come to enlist just finish filling out lord Marquis Ka Ne's enlistment forms and then I’ll take you to your room, sadly we might not be spending much time there sense I have heard we have some work to be done soon."

Jang smiled and awaited his new friends reply

Ka Ne watched the exchange, then nodded. "You will be appreciated here, Brother Zhao. Welcome to the Brotherhood." He signaled for a nearby servant to lead him to his rooms when he was ready to leave.

Jang bowed once more then turned and lead the way into back to his men. As jang approached his men he held up his hand and spoke to them.

"Men this is Master Huang Wei and Master Ning Shuzhi, they will be accompanying us back to the city. Men you may go on without us and take my horse back to the stables. Order the town guard to clear the main road so we may pass uninhibited. Make sure no one crowds the main road to the palace."

With that the men bowed and rode off on their steeds to carry out their orders. the trip back to the city was a little more trouble than originally planned, sense the area was very hill horses are very much so favored but for master Huang Wei's phobia of horses traveling on foot would have to do for now. As they approach the lustrous city of Haozhi the guards were standing at attention throughout the main road clearing it of traffic so Wei would not feel so cramp. As they walk through the road the trio can spot people on the side of the roads watching the men pass through the road trying to see what all the hubbub was about. As they approach the palace, people can be seen with small shrines set up outside the main gate and off to the side with signs saying "get well lady Rui Jiao Jin" and such. The men at the main gates to the palace opened the doors as the trio started to make their way up the steps, allowing them to pass unimpeded. Inside the large structure was a long hallway lined with soldier’s servants and tapestry. Many doors lined the hallway, besides the man large doors to the audience hall their only other recognizable doors wore for the office of head adviser and Marquis Ka Ne. Jang lead the group to the door then proceeded to knock and then enter the room. Once in Jang bowed affirmatively to his superior and began to speak.

"Head adviser Ka Ne, I General Rou Jang have brought two friends to speak with her ladyship Duchess Rui Jiao Jin. On named Master Huang Wei the crocodile of JiBeiand Master Ning Shuzhi. I know full well that she is sick right now and needs rest but is there any way we might be able to have an audience with her?"

Jang bowed again and awaited an answer.
