Ran smiled to Wen. "I would have it no other way. I prefer making my way myself rather than have it handed to me without so much as a strike of a sword. I look forward to widening my strengths and raising my fame under your banner...and one of the Prime Minister".

Ignoring the man's comment about fame Wen Xu saw that Yi Dan was returning with his spare horse. As the commander handed him the reins Wen Xu patted the chestnut mare a few times. Walking over to Fi Ran he handed him the reins and said, "She is an older horse but she is still strong. Take good care of her and she will make sure you live through any battle you take part in."
(OOC- Horse(Spd+1) given to Fi Ran)

Fi Ran was incredibly grateful with the gift being lent to him but he was one that always found it hard to express gratitude. In the end he tried in the only way he could think. "Thank you Master Wen, I promise to bring glory to your banner in honor of this act of kindness".
Ran then lent him another bow.

Once the man had his horse Xu returned to his own and mounted up. Riding back over to the man he nodded and said, "Since we are lined up for battle might as well ride out now. On to Jiujiang."

The Yin unification meeting
( Closed RP )
Within the compound of the capital city the Prime Minister had set up a meeting between the two powers in Yin in an effort to reach both their desires to see the province controlled by a single governing head, obedient and loyal to the Chu court. The time had finally come and now the Prime Minister waited for the two individuals to come here, to this chamber and work out a compromise. The room was a well lit chamber which was dominated by a long polished wooden table that rested two feet off the ground. Around the table were pillows and cushions for sitting, upon which two undersecretaries already sat ready with bamboo scrolls, inkwell, and pens. The Prime Minister himself was dressed in flowing robes of red and white. He waited patiently within the chamber, anxious to see one of his efforts come to a fruitful conclusion. His face seemed older then usual, tension lines standing out among his grandfatherly features. In addition to him and the undersecretaries six or seven guards stood silently at attention along the walls.

It seemed she wouldnt be able to meet the Prime minister alone to discuss the news she had heard. Though not what she realy had in mind, she could finaly meet the other gouvernor and actualy confront him about the news she had recived.
Lizhi: very well
She followed the secretaries, and as she entered she gave the prime minister a bow.
Lizhi: Thank you for taking the time to organise all of this.
She then proceed to take a seat. Unlike her usual, she was behing far more direct. The news she had recived had turn this meeting rather sour...though she did her best to hide it.

Walking after his guide into the meeting Dai Wu takes the seat indicated.
"Lord Prime Minister, I am grateful that you have taken the time to attend to the matter of Yin province yourself. I do not doubt that you shall use your wisdom to resolve the matter in a fair and most beneficial way to the King."

The Prime Minister dropped his head at Lizhi's bow, then turned to see Dai Wu enter. "I welcome you both back to Chu and hope that we can have a productive and cordial conclave. It is my desire to see a fair and accepted resolution to the situation in Yin decided here today." he said in his deep, gravelly voice.
Once both were seated at the table he had one of the guards on duty close the door and with his wrinkled hands he indicated the two undersecretaries. "These are two of the courts assistants who will help facilitate in writing all that will be discussed here today."
The Prime Minister lowered himself onto the cushions at the head of the table between his two undersecretaries. "Have you two been formerly introduced to one another? If not, I think that would be a proper way to begin."

Lizhi: no we havent, atless we never met face to face. But i do know of him, as i have told you in a previous meeting we had.
Even if part of her didnt belived in the chances of this meeting, she would go along for now, and to be just she though she should mention what was said to the Prime minister in that meeting.
Lizhi: as i said, i had recived a letter from Dai Wu, about peace and how to split Yin. And as i replyed to him, i was curently too busy at the time to make the trip, for i was taking care of the needs of the population who helped me secure Xiuwu. Though i did return his invitation and invited him to my city, so we could meet, it seemed it wasent worth a reply. So after a few days i sent one of my aid named Ma Shu to discuss this mather for me, but that seemed to have been for nothing for Dai Wu didnt seemed to be willing to talk.
She said calmly, relating there previous "encounter". She knew she had only been ask to introduce herself, but she wasent in the mood for this, though didnt let it show. She would rather get this meetion on and spare the plesentry.
Lizhi: I appologise if im behing a bit direct.
She said giving a small bow to the prime minister. For she knew that what she said would likely be seen by Dai Wu as some form of attack against him, though all that she said where facts.
(ooc: I dont have much choice to consider the Ma Shu part as such since there where no reply since Sept 26)

Dai Wu chuckles at the woman's words, so transparent, so designed to attempt to blacken his name in the Prime Minister's gaze.
"Now that we have had the version of events from the mouth of the horse so to speak might I explain my side? As was explained to you I was told by the Hegemon King' minister to secure the totality of Yin. However, it seemed that you had sponsored a young lady to take the city of Xiuwu and as such I was in somewhat of a quandary, as such I decided to send a message to her asking her to meet with me where upon I would have revealed the Hegemon King's intention as far as it was made known to me at the time, namely that I should rule the province of Yin. Yet my polite request was met with a curt rebuttal and it wasnt until nearly a month had passed that a junior minister of hers turned up at the gates of Zhaoge. Rather than perpetuate the diplomatic farce that had been created by my reasonable attempts at diplomacy with this woman I instead came here and sought the view of the Hegemon King or his Prime Minister....yourself.
In summary, rather than start a conflict within Yin in an attempt to immediately complete the wishes of the King I tried to seek your advice in regards to the problems therein. Rather than come into conflict with this lady I have instead embarked upon a campaign punishing the rebellious towns and villages within Liang and have brought with me a one quarter part of the goods that were taken from these rebellious towns for proper tribute to his majesty the Hegemon King. Oh, and finally, it seems Ma Su is a little put out that I have accomplished some sort of military victory over the multitude of towns and villages he has not yet pacified and killed my messenger, a crime which I am sure you can agree is heinous."
