Bo Shuai raised a slender eyebrow as she made mention that she would speak with her men. There had been no mention of an arrival of a company of men in Xianyang... Shrugging, Bo Shuai then replied "I see. Well, the offer shall not stand forever, Miss Xian. There are, after all, other people who can fill such posts, perhaps less, perhaps more, capable than you. And regardless if either is the case, the post should be filled without too much delay. I'll see what I can do to keep it open for you should you consider accepting it" With a small bow, Bo Shuai then allowed Xian An and Qianqian to leave

Again, the lone rider from Yong, Ka Ne, rode to and presented himself before the Palace guards in Xianyang. He hoped, this time, Meng Tian or Ying Jianglu would have time for him.

The gaurds at the gate take Ka Ne's name and then escort him inside without a search and put him in a small audience chamber with no one in it. A pair of attendants arrive after a few minutes and serve him any refreshments he required, while informing him that Ying Jianglu would be there within the hour.

Not too much later, a pair of guards enter the room and take up position kneeling before the raised dias of the hall between Ka Ne and cushions on the dias. After they were settled an attendant announced loudly, "King Ying Jianglu of Qin."

A frail man entered the room and moved to the dias, taking his position on the seats. Jianglu had managed to gain a little weight since his imprisonment, but he was still painfully thin, but he looked at Ka Ne with a piercing eye.

"Ka Ne. Of Rui Jiao Jin's service, correct? Or perhaps she serves you, I hear. Welcome to Xianyang."

He kept his eyes low, as befitting a mere perfect before the emperor. "I am honored to be so quickly recieved, Your Majesty, May he live for ten thousand years." He nodded at the words, saying, 'I may command the Brotherhood and it's members, but I am a servant of China and it's true emperor, Your Majesty." He said, remaining kneeling before the man. "I remain your servant, though I may act with much freedom."

Ying Jianglu nodded thoughtfully, "Rise Ka Ne, take a seat upon the cushions we have prepared for you. A servant of your magnitude deserves many considerations."

Jianglu began to cough, sharply at first, but slowly gained control once more and after a moment of mastering himself, inclined his head. "It is well to see you, but the trip from Yong is not an easy one in early spring with the flooding. What have you come to speak with me about?"

He took the proffered seat, bowing graciously. "I have never met you, Mi'lord, and wished to make the journey. We are dedicated to reuniting this land, and we work to do this for the True Qin." He said softly, though loud enough to be heard. "I came to spoke of our plans once we manage to take Sai from the hands of your hateful brother."

After departing Bashang, Bo Shuai arrived at Xianyang, with Wu Fang in tow. Wearing his fine robes, his sword at his side, he saluted the guards on duty and proceeded forth, escorting the girl into the Palace courtyard. Stopping at the doors, Bo Shuai then disarmed himself and spoke to the guards "I, Chief of Officials Bo, am here to speak to the Supreme Commander. I have found someone of talent that I think would be suitable to join our ranks. Please inform him of such" With that, Bo Shuai awaited the guard's response

Wu Fang was standing behind and to the left of Bo Shuai. She had been nervous at giving up her weapon at the gates, but now, she was more concerned about the new robes that she was wearing. Given to her for now by Bo Shuai, she was being careful to make sure that they didn't drag along the ground or get otherwise defaced. After Bo Shuai stopped to talk to the guards, Wu Fang just waited behind him, only somjetimes giving quick looks at the sword, dagger, and crossbow she had to give up.

The Supreme Commander appeared in the chambers. He seemed tired from the rigors and turmoils of battle, but the fire in his eyes was positively flaming.

The duo were ushered into the Supreme Commander's study. There they found Meng Tian studying a topographical map of the Sai province, still smarting from the defeat at Bashang. He glanced up and regarded the visitors, his eyes flickering from the duo's features. After a moment, he spoke. "Did you want something, Bo Shuai?"
