People can't accept rap... makes me sad.
They just diss it to prove that they're a "rocker"
REAL rockers like rap.
Anyone here like Hatebreed, Throwdown, or other kinds of Hardcore?
Rap, is good. Depending on what you consider 'rap', apart from 'hip-hop' and 'R&B'.
Though I don't listen to Hatebreed, or Throwdown, or anything like that. I do listen to -Hardcore- music. Though my definition might differ from your own. Newer 'hardcore' like, The New Threat, I Object, Annihilate New School to good ol' Black Flag.
But yeah, 'Rap' is good.

I like old school rap, like...Run DMC.
Mostly, I like lots and lots of music. The Pixies, Black Flag, Crass, Descendents, Misfits, Dils, Juliana Hatfield, Liz Phair, Madness, Specials, Vandals, Voodoo Glow Skulls, John Mayer, Rage Against the Machine, Sundays, Morrissey, Smiths, Beatles, etc. etc. I have a removable harddrive with about....15K songs on it, and growing.

Hardcore is a huge genre, it's mostly made from punk/metal influences like Minor Threat and Metallica. It ranges from bands like Unearth (more metal) to bands like Comeback Kid (older stuff much more a mix). And in Washington, where I live, theres a lot of hardcore bands that are much more punk than metal.

I'll listen to pretty much anything. Voluntarily, I prefer all kinds of rock, anything from Guns n' Roses to Linkin Park to Megadeth to Pink Floyd. But, my mix CDs always have one or two oddball songs thrown in there...say, "Secret Agent Man" by Johnny Rivers, or "The Impossible Dream" from the Man of La Mancha (Don Quixote's the man), or hell, "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain.
Come on, you know you sing "You're Still the One" to yourself sometimes.

I've completed my Modest Mouse discography and they are easily one of my favorite bands ever. I highly recommend them to anybody who likes good music.
