(Ignore the massive headline saying the site is dead: it isn't.)

The greatest website ever.

This website offers a downloadable client to have Pokemon battles with your friends. You design your pokemon in a handy wizard type deal, select their attacks, etc.

Then, once you have a team you go online and battle people on the various servers they have.

Sengoku Legends

Japan Awaits

Shame will fall upon those who give up the way of the sword. Shame falls upon those who will not raise their blade to defend the land they call home. Dare you give yourself to shame? Japan is in a state of confusion, and the warlords have come to take advantage of this chaos. What do you fight for? Honour? Valour? Glory? Ambition? Your Own Self? Love? Peace? This is where a legend emerges.

The Legend of Sengoku

What We Offer

- A completely unique system of Clan Strength. Culture and Warfare Levels determine the prosperity and strength of your clans. Unique pathways effect your clans that you clanlord can decide. Will you establish a clan of economy? Or maybe a clan solely built upon strong fortifications? Or a clan for the people? It is all in your hands.

- The system of military has been refined almost completely. Instead of buying your troops, you train them at your facilities inside your fiefs. Warfare Levels determine what form of weaponry you have access to. Would you fight with a naginata? Or maybe a musket?

- Create your own battle formations! You may train your men into formations that you name! Staff will then assign the ability and advantages of the formation by a roll of dice depending on the quality of your posts.

- Dice system is used in many aspects to determine things such as formations, tactics and many other events. However, players will be able to choose what the selection of outcomes will be.

- Events will happen everyday to a different player. Staff dedication will allow the most unorthodox events to play out regarding the characters. Whether they are good or bad, that is the choice of fate.

- Samurai, Musketeers and Ninja are all at your command in this RP. Each has his own skills, and heck, you can even have them carry out your own formations.

- It should also be noted that the characters do not have statistics, their skill depends on how you play them

- Above all this, battles will happen quite frequently due to the large amount of fiefs. If there are no clan based battles, the staff will cook up some nice fictional/historical main battles!

- Read the Rules to find out even more!

Sengoku Legends

------------------------------------------------

Already we have 5 Clans that are taking hold over fiefs of Japan:

- The Oda, lead by Oda Nobunaga.
- The Azai, lead by Azai Nagamasa.
- The Saika, lead by Saika Magoichi.
- The Takeda, lead by Takeda Shingen.
- The Ishida, lead by Ishida Mistunari.

Currently there is the first battle taking place, one of the many legendary battles that took place within the Senguko period of Japan where the 'Demon King' Oda Nobunaga brought up an army against the once great Asakura clan, the battles of Kanegasaki. However, not all things have to go by history as Sanada Yukimura takes the field, alongside an unknown Seishiro Gogawa, in hopes to defend the honourable Asakura. While two surprising clans come to aid the Oda whose officers include: Shibata Katsuie, Lady Nohime and Akechi Mistuhide. The two ally clans? They are the Saika and the infamous Takeda, while Hanzo Hattori claims the battlefield merely watching over the deadly headlock of these two clans. Though the Saika move to the attack with the Oda, it is the Takeda who are stationed on the mountains, merely waiting, making suspicious come to life within the Oda army as the great strategist Takeda Shingen awaits to make his final move. Will the Tiger of Kai help the Oda, or turn his back upon them and trample them for the Asakura?

You do not need to join such a battle if you wish, you could easily join one of the 5 current Clans to help them build up their fiefs. The systems chosen by the dedicated staff are indeed different to that of many others, taking on the surprising similarity with the game Samurai Warriors 2: Empires.

Look! Another Wannabe is making a Sim! Probably just another China ripo-... Ogre Battle? I liked that game... well... at least he's original...

Seriously, I'm giving Simmaking a shot... and... yeah... I'm absolutely eloquent tonight... Come take a look once in a while, give us(me) some feedback and come help if you wanna!

Recently, I've seen some conversation about how some sims are "too fast" and others are "too short". I have my own theories about this, of course. Regardless, I think it's important to look at the history of sims to determine such things, and to see how fast and how slow sims have been in the past. In order to share this information, I have prepared a statistical analysis of turn change lengths across eleven different versions of sims that I've personally played. I know that there were sims before I came around, and that there are plenty that I don't play, but considering the amount of effort it takes to do it, it'd be hard to run stats for sims that I wasn't personally involved in.

I have published the results here: http://www.geocities.com/aaron2u2/turnc ... lysis.html

So...Axis and Allies Online.

http://triplea.sourceforge.net/mywiki/Guides

You can either DL the game to your PC or play via Java. How many of you want to test your mettle against KV, LL and myself?! There is also a lobby you can join and it apparently still has players. So...have fun? :)
