Hey, did anyone see the black eyed peas at live 8? I didn't know it was possible to maul your own song ( a bad song at that) but theres the proof!

Black eyed peas wer so damn awful, almost made me turn the TV off. Kanye west was fantastic, along with Jon Bon Jovi (or whatever there called)

Where is the love (as if it wasn't bad enough already). There was this one great bit where everything had just gone wrong, and they held out the Microphone so that people could sing the chorus. The whole place was silent apart from about 5 people.it made my day

Having said that, i probably couldn't write a song then go out and sing it in front of thousands of people, but on the other hand i don't get payed enough to use money as toilet paper.

I noticed in another thread, you said you like metal like: Lamb of God, Trivium, Static-X, Slipknot, etc. Well, that is ok except Slipknot, Static-X, and Mudvayne (the three you did say in the list) are not metal. They are hard-rock. Niether is Korn, Killswitch Engages, 12 stones, and depswa, incase you were wondering.

SlipKnoT, Static-X, KoRn, Killswitch Engage, and Mudvayne are Metal.

12 Stones and Depswa are Hard Rock.

How laughable. They are nothing like metal. Ok then, if you say they are metal, what KIND of metal would they be?

Why don't you take a look around metal-archives.com and look for your "metal bands". Out of several tens of thousands, you would think they would be there, wouldn't you? They are all obviously hard-rock.

Actually Zhu Wenshao, your arguement is flawed. Your taking it from just one site. I would argue Slipknow if rock metal. I've taken a look at a few well-known CD sites and its under Hard Rock& Metal. Which by the way is in the same category together. I sometimes wonder why people say 'Yeh we're hard core and listen to Metal, Hard Rock is s***' when really they are very much alike. If you judge music just by its genre then your not really a music fan, your just a sheep following other people's example.

I litsen to all kinds of music, I know what is metal and what is hard-rock. It is a widely known fact that those bands are hard-rock, I was just simply correcting him. They do not fit into any metal genre at all, even at their own websites it says hard rock. And no where did I say that I judge music by its genre, I like a lot of hard-rock bands, just none of those.
