Loved Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Loved Glory, Loved Princess Bride...
All good movies with Cary Elwes in a leading/supporting role.
But his voiceovers in videogames... subpar.

You forgot Liar Liar and Twister (it was okay, not great), The Chase (very small part, but I think Elwes owns part of the study that made the film), Hot Shots (again, only okay), and Days of Thunder (classic!).
His voice acting could use some work, but I've heard FAR FAR worse.

Wait! Hold the phone!
Cary Elwes was the annoying guy from Liar Liar?
And he was the evil tornado chaser in Twister?
That does not look like the same Cary Elwes from Princess Bride.

In Liar Liar he was Jim's ex-wife's boyfriend. And you got Twister correct. I think he looks mostly the same. He was Rusty Wallis (sp?) in Days of Thunder.
Seriously, go watch
The Crush for a great Cary Elwes/creepy-ish weird movie. DO IT!

War of the Worlds out tomorrow. I can't wait. It looks to be one of Spielberg's best!

I saw War of the Worlds. It can not be compared to Schindlers List, as that is an entirely different type of film.
Think Jurassic Park type movie. It's a big summer blockbuster thrill ride. It's an exciting and entertaining movie and it even has some elements like Schindlers list (as far as the toll war takes of people) but its much more .. I suppose shallow. Though that's not really fair.

Yeh Schindler's list was one of those films that you can't say you enjoyed or didn't enjoy. Its not that type of film. Its more of a powerful insight into the attrocities, hardships and good deeds that happened during a period of war.
A bit like Passion of Christ- another controversial and moving film.

Speaking of that sort of movie...
I watched Hotel Rwanda last night. Well done and well acted but just horrible to watch. If you are from the west it will - and should - make you feel ashamed. It is a Schindler sort of story - though I find Rusesabagina a more likable - or less problematic maybe - personality.
Edit: has anyone read Dallaire's book? I want to but haven't had a chance yet.

Unfortunately, it seems that governments put a different perspective on problems in Africa than they do in non-third world countries.
It's a shame, really. Don's acting in that movie is really great and although Ray won the oscar for best picture and Jamie Fox won for best actor, they should have given something to this movie.
