That's hilarious. I literally just got done talking to my friend about watching the 2010 series. I used to have the whole series downloaded, but I built a new PC and that all went out the metaphorical window. You can find the torrents, but the site I got it from doesn't seem to have the links up, so let me know if anyone has links. Like GA said, you can watch it on Youtube for the time being. There's no HD torrent out there that I'm aware of, so you're not missing any quality on Youtube. Just search Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2010. I think the user who uploaded them is (possibly kinda racist-ly?) named Jackie Chan.

I highly recommend the 2010 series. It goes from Cao Cao's failed attempt on Dong Zhuo to Sima Yi's dominance of Wei, I believe, and it's awesome. It proves that Cao Cao is the True Troll of the Three Kingdoms.

Yeah, the 2010 series is live action. It's like their Game of Thrones, is the best way to describe it. Some of the action is campy, compared to our North American sensibilities and the graphic violence we live on, but if you like Asian series/movies, it's really not bad at all. Just a difference in styles. The series goes into a surprising amount of depth, and it highlights a lot of the characters in interesting ways. The actors did a good job, in my opinion.

Battle of Red Cliffs is a good suggestion, too. Shows a lot of character development and dialog surrounding the events of Chibi and Red Cliffs. I've only seen the sandwiched NA release, not the two-part movie, but I really liked it.
