Jiang Sei's Audience Hall - Huainan
Moderator: Game Masters
The air is muggy as Suling Pu arrived in Yiling, town of the Marquis of Huainan. The muggy air really annoyed Suling. She would much rather have a nicer weather. Although she had been raised in this area, she could not wait until winter when it is termperate. Thank goodness that winter is coming. Along with her servant, Long Bu, they approach the security area. Hello there. I am Suling Pu. I've been invited to come talk to Yi Lian. She waits.
The guard relayed the message inside and in a little bit, the gate to the mansion opened to him. The guards extended their hands to show the man in as they escorted him inside. As they reached the Audience Hall, Yi Lian, fresh off of her trip to Wu was there, sitting at her chair. Seeing the monk, she said in a respectful tone, "Dashi, I am Yi Lian. With what call name may I call you with?"Gong Gong wrote:
Turning his head to look at one of the guards who presented him in an expected manner. The Mushi politely inclined his head and smiled at his question. "I am trying to revive the village I was born in, which is near Jiangcheng, who the Lady Yi has just recently taken power of.. I wish to serve the Lady as a vassel of Wu province, in hopes that the revival of the village would not seem as a threat." Bowing lowly as a servant to master, Shuilong silently waited to be given access to see Yi Lian or searched; though how these men can believe a Mushi (monk/priest) could carry a weapon would come to Gong as quite a surprise...
The guards at the entrance to the mansion searched and disarmed the woman, as courteous as possible before she was brought inside. Yi Lian, seeing Suling Pu, stood up and said, "Hello, Ms. Suling. I thank you for coming, please do sit down and would you like anything to drink?"Sulingpu wrote:The air is muggy as Suling Pu arrived in Yiling, town of the Marquis of Huainan. GF, JCH will continue to RP with you.
When in the presence of Yi Liang the Mushi gave her the courteous bow one of her status would deserve, however, Shuilong was quite surprised with her form of address. Content with the reception, his tone was rather calm and fluid but never lacked the honour he felt to be before her. "My name is Sima Gong, but Lady Yi please call me Shuilong." Smiling to the lady Yi it was no time to waste, she being recently back from the experdition in Jiangcheng and possibley wished only to rest. "I apologise for wasting time for rest from your travels, but it is an honour to be in your presence... I come from Wu province, near a village of Jiangcheng. My travel here is to help you, however my desire to join you are some what self-induced... I wish to revive the village and monastry I grew up in, currently having 334 willing men to help me." Steping forward with a courtial bow, Gong showed that the monastry had taught him much about manners; though it could merely be life experience as he was obviously older than Yi Lian. "I did not wish it to seem a threat, so telling you of what I wish to do would seem the best option. I understand this will take much time, so I wish to help you in any way I can. What can I bring to the table for you?. I understand that you may not have worth for a monk, however, those at the monastry taught me strategies of the battlefield." Slightly strange for monks to teach such a subject, though seemingly necessary for the future. However, Shuilong waited to be questioned further, as it was Yi Lian's court and he would only speak now when formally spoken to...Kimche wrote:The guard relayed the message inside and in a little bit, the gate to the mansion opened to him. Yi Lian bowed slightly in recognition of this religious man. "Shuilong Dashi, it is good to meet you. Yes, my troops have recently entered the city of Jiangcheng, I do hope that their entrance did not cause too much of a disturbance to your village. Your goal is to revive a village near Jiangcheng, I do not see too much of a problem with that. May I ask, what is it that you wish to do by reviving this village?"Gong Gong wrote: When in the presence of Yi Liang the Mushi gave her the courteous bow one of her status would deserve, however, Shuilong was quite surprised with her form of address. Gong had underestimated this woman, she seemed quite the eloquent woman and one of ever growing influence, holding cities in three provinces; could Shuilong be wrong in his assumption that a woman figure head rising on her own instead of through her husband could not rule? "There was no disturbance Lady Yi, it seems Jiangcheng will thrive from you influence.. Since I left the village it had become dorment, the death of the Abbot made people leave to venture into cities. I hope to restore the monastries, revive the worships and perhaps bring my old village a prosperous future." Smiling to Yi Lian, Gong inclined his head to the respect she was giving her. "The late Abbot was seen as the head of the village, all seeking his plans for what to do; I was foolish to leave as I would soon become the next Abbot.. But I didn't. I wish to have any help given to yourself and Jiangcheng during the revival and after.."

"A worthy goal," Said Yi Lian, while her eyes shifted slightly to the map close to her. A new one had been drawn up for the new province. Looking back at the monk, she nodded her head and said, "Then how can I help you in trying to achieve this? A religious influence in this region is not a bad thing, unless it is a zealous organization trying to change the hearts of the people for the worse. As I hear from you, I do not believe you have such ambition, so I ask, how can I help you in trying to achieve this?"Gong Gong wrote:Gong had underestimated this woman, she seemed quite the eloquent woman and one of ever growing influence, holding cities in three provinces; could Shuilong be wrong in his assumption that a woman figure head rising on her own instead of through her husband could not rule? Gong was relieved that Yi Lian could see that his intentions were not to bring ruin. "Lady Yi, the monastry taught of keeping the natural order while bringing worship the deities of our waters.. The teachings are not for bad will, as it would be banished from what we believe" Shuilong smiled as she asked on how she could help with achieving what he wished, though Gong was not entirely sure on how that would come about. "I wish to serve you as a loyal vassal, creating a bond between the village and yourself. I feel that my service to you will allow the Heavens to bring the prosperity and fortune of the village, while bestowing luck upon your own kingdom." It was correct, the monk felt if serving the one who gained power over his home province, the Heavens would look upon this as a good gesture and bless the village to breath the life it once did.. While the help Gong gave to Yi Lian would benefit her own kingdom, in ways that she would see fit.

Yi Lian smiled at last. This was what she wanted to hear. She stood and said, "Then I welcome you back to this region. I myself was raised in Huainan. So we share the same goal in this region. Thank you for coming to me, Shuilong Dashi." She bowed slightly.Gong Gong wrote:Gong was relieved that Yi Lian could see that his intentions were not to bring ruin. Please post in the OI... I think you know
Smiling Shuilong gently waved his hand to her, gesturing that the bow was not necessary. "My Lady, such gratitude to me is not needed.. I once believed that a woman could never surpass a goal without her husband's title.. However, you have proven such to be a fabrication, perhaps the Heavens need the graceful touch of a woman's mind to finally bring the natural order for the people." Before even finishing his sentence, the monk was on his knees and placing his head onto the floor; the gracious bow, servant to an emperor. "I shall be placed where ever you wish my Lady, serving you both as a monk and servant to your own goals."

Suling was glad to sit down, in fact, she hadn't sat for a long time. She carefully examined the woman in front of her, being younger than herself, and already in such a high position. It interested her. Ever since she became a widow, it took a long time for her to come out of her shell. "Cold tea would be great, Miss. Nice place you've got here, I like it. It has the woman's touch. I bet you invited me here for a reason, and it's not just to offer me a place to sit and tea to drink, right?"
