"I appreciate your offer, but I cannot accept." He said, and rose from his seat. "Your uncle is probably a great man, but I'm quite busy right now here in Changsha. I'm glad you came to see me. Now, I shall go back to my own house. I hope you have a good time in Changsha." He quietly turned around and left the tavern, heading for his own home.Liu Kang wrote:"My Uncle, lord Fei Lak, has recently heard of your skills, if word was to come from so far of your skill to a secluded and hardly worthy land then it must be both true and possibly greater. He has therefore sent..." Half way through talking the waitress brought over the wine, "Err, thanks" he said and then continued taking a sip of wine, "He has therefore sent me to personally seek you out, my uncle has had his eye on many officers before, each one great, he is hardly wrong when judging others. Anyways, the point is that he wants me to invite you to our own lands in Yan, a feast, some wine, a few dancers, to discuss things of importance. Its in Shanggu, our base of operations, i know its far, but we will accomodate you for your trip, we have a great inn their thats for sure..."

Kang was a stubborn person and with that he got up and ran after him, "Wait, lord Chaoyun, did i offend you in some way?" He asked, as he got to the mans side he continued to speak, huffing a little, "Lord Chaoyun, i greatly respect you and what you stand for, just look at this village, its great, but can one day, or maybe two, really be that bad? Consider it a vacation wont you?"

Lak looked at the man, but for the life of him didn't recognize who he was. He looked to his trusted Champion for aid but then decided to find out himself.Temujin wrote:Lord XunXue Wei stepped around the captain and bowed.
"Cheif, I have responded to your summons. How can I be of assistance?"
"Master, forgive me but I do not recognize you. I am Fei Lak, prefect of Shanggu, you say I called upon you to visit me or do you mean one of my officers did so?"

"Master Liu Kang, I mean no offense to your lord, but I have some affairs to be dealt with here in Changsha. Two days gone could mean revolts and pillagers. My subordinates cannot defend themselves. I apologize for declining, but I have things to do and my schedule is full." He calmed himself a bit before continuing with an offer. "Let's say, in three months, I'll visit your lord in Shanggu. By then things will have calmed, and I will feel more safe."

Bowing again, Lord XunXue Wei took one step towards the cheif and addressed him again.Phailak wrote:Lak looked at the man, but for the life of him didn't recognize who he was. "I am sorry, I assumed your servants were operating under your express instruction and authority. I did not mean to waste your time or to trouble you in any fashion with my audience if it was not at your strict behest. Seeing as you do not know of me I can only ascertain that you were unaware of your subordinates conduct and from that conclude that you did not wish to see me or have use for me. Should you wish to see the scroll it is in the possession of your captain here, and I give permission for you to read it."
With that he positioned himself as to stay or leave at the slightest indication of the chief.

OOC: Actually bro, I handed back the scroll to XunXue Wei..
Liang Feng then moved forward with a grunt, taking out the slightly crumpled scroll from inside his armor. Straightening it out for a moment, he laid it on Fei Lak's desk.
"There it is. I did not read the scroll too, as it is for you! Thought it might be bad manners! Hah!"
For a change, he did have some manners..

"Your man Liu Kang, came to my Ger in ChangShang, and handed to me this scroll asking me to quickly attend your hall here. The scroll informs me that you desired my services for some purpose. That is my I am here. If my presence was requested then my skills must already be known.Phailak wrote:Lak seemed confused. He did not look at the scroll nor take it.
"You are here, it would be rude for me to read that while I can learn more about you in person. Simply introduce yourself and perhaps tell me of your skills."
The prefect motioned for Feng to simply give back the scroll to their guest.
I am a man of war, it is what I understand, not this extravagance and populace. I have a small contingent of men at my disposal who have followed me through the country side."

Lak bowed, still not knowing the man's name.
"Ah yes Kang, well unfortunately my young nephew did not inform me of your visit. Still, he is a young man with an incredible flair for talent. You'll have to excuse our manners, we are just settling in and are preparing for war on all fronts. This of course should be no excuse, but it may explain the mess. Still, I have yet to learn of your name, Master..."
Lak gave pause for the man to complete the sentence.
