I'd say so, I got it a couple of weeksago, on a whim. Its quite good, but to me plays lesslike a strategy game and more like a dynasty warriors where you control a unit rather than one bloke (or blokette). I'd still reccomend it tho'.

One thing that I don't like about the game... probably one of the few things that I don't like... is the way the storyline kicks in and switches cities around and gives rulers other cities. Kind of makes it hard to defend.

I think the battles in Kessen III are terrible compared to I and II. It's mostly button mashing now. And the game got extremely repetitive to me.

But I do like the storyline that Kessen III put forth. Deeper than I and much more believeable than II.

The only gripe that I have with Kessen III is how they portray Nobunaga and Mistuhide. Other than that, it's a good game, IMHO. I would also like to say that I'm finally on my first successful game in RTKX...one where the AI isn't too stupid (play the 250 Hero's Scenario as a Vassal to Liu Bei. Prepare to feel my frustration as you try to take Cheng Du). I've got both Northern and Southern Jing, Yi, and I'm beginning to work my way into Jiao Zhi and Nan Hai. The only bigger kingdom would be Cao Cao, who has only six or seven cities at most.

Good times. I'll finally get to see a damned ending. I swear though, if RTKXI has AI as horrendously stupid as X...then someone is going to die.

Ugh ... it's not even worth watching a battle unless you are in control of all your forces. Once, I forget what city we were attacking, but it had 2 gates. I think it was Luo Yang. Anyways, I quickly crushing one gate with my catapault, but every single other unit, even enemy ones are crammed at the other gate, dying. I smash my gate and move inside and start smashing the next gate. Finally some enemy unit attack me after it's almost open. I kill two of those units and am on the third when time runs out. Seriously, I already had the damn gate open on my side .... why couldn't they just move inside there instead of attacking the other one with a foot unit and 2 bow units. Oh, and did I mention that all these units had towers and catapaults and just wouldn't assemble them?

Is it just me or does RTW seem to lag if you do multiple commands per second? Its really strange, I'm using an uba new computer with a whopping performance rating but it still happens?

It's a trick used by computer companies when they want you to buy their equipment. Buy "top-speed" equipment, then find out that there's a game out there that needs "super top-speed." Then get that and find out that you'll need "super duper top-speed" to play online.

No trust me it isn't that. I think its something to do with actual code itself, they're trying to cram so much in it gets slightly jumbled. The lag is only slight but I do notice it as a continue to play. For smaller battles it can cope with multiple commands per second fine, its just things such as sieges.

One gripe I have about RTKX is the utter stupidity of the AI. Now, maybe it's just Cao Cao, but everytime we attack, he takes control of Lu Bu's Arrow Unit/Liuetenant Arrow Unit, and makes them always attack the gate/building. 'Oh there's a 500 guy unit sitting in front of the gate, but we must attack the gate itself!' It's just really really annoying when there's thin or weak units, and the computer is always going for the gate.
