All he had to do was re-educate her in here error and no harm done. Taking a seat he look at the woman and gesturing Lu Ying to copy him he sighs lightly and begins to inform her of the political situation in the rebellion.

"Well, Lu Ying, you have been informed wrong by your men sadly, at this moment in time my King, Chen Sheng, is just what i said, King of Chu. I was sent her by him to pacify the Zhao province and as things stand I am doing fairly well at it and have been rewarded by my King with the rank of marquis. So you see I am not a King, and am loyal to Chen She so I wouldn't even voice any ambition to equal him in rank. It is no matter that you made a mistake, Zhao here was isolated from events before I arrived with my officers and army. So, I am willing to accept your loyalty on my kings behalf if that is what you are here to suggest?"

Sitting back Wu Chen looks hopefully at the woman in front of him hoping she would take the avenue he had left open to her.
"Yes.. yes" Lu ying said, slowly nodding in agreement with the general. "I am indebted to you for forgiving my ignorance."

"Now, I have a request. My town of ChangZhi, it has an old mine with a plentyful vein of silver. I was wondering, with the workers and infrastructre of Chen She's kingdom, if you could help rebuild the mine to opperational status"

The magistrate whistles upon hearing the ambitious scheme.

You must be an ambitious up and comer. If you raise the troops, take the city, and come to the king looking for a title in exchange for the city I am sure you wouldn't be displeased. Why you might become the next prelate or chief of the ministry of meritous action. Good luck and feel free to stop by when you are in Chen. Somedays I only have the protestation of the corrupt who aren't pleased that I'm making the city legit and organized. Or at least it's commerce.
Zhou Zheng grinned, thoroughly pleased with what the official had said.

"I look forward to reporting the good news in a few months' time. If you will pardon me, I wish to return to Xinzheng and take the necessary steps."

Zhou Zheng bowed again, before turning to depart.

To his guest he nodded and smiled and said, "Oh yes! That's the wise one. To win it all and not risk anything - that's the best way!" He wished his advisors would think this way. "So you wish to join our fight here?"
"May I speak my mind, Highness?" Jun steadied his gaze to Chen She. "Only if I am designated your second in all affairs of the state, Your Majesty." he reiterated, "I realize that I am in no place to negotiate the terms of my employ during an ill announced visit like this and especially in front of Your Highness. But, unreasonable as it may sound, the proposal will ultimately accrue to your State's benefit."

"Were I to join His Highness' Court in Chu, I wish to be assigned to a post of import, of relevance. Surely, my skills will be for naught were I charged only to attend to His Majesty's horses?"

Chen She listened to the young man carefully. He grinned at the audacity of his requests. It would, he thought, irritate some of the nobles who advised him to have this young man receive a rank higher than their own. On the other hand, he reflected, none of those people was around!

He said, "Well certainly I could give you a position of import but I would need to test your advice for a brief while before I could make you so high as my second! Would you accept the rank of," he thought for a minute, "Chief Magistrate?"

Xiang Jun smiled faintly but sincerely, "I am constrained to accept the post of Chief Magistrate, if Your Majesty wills it. To recompense the King's generosity to this doctor, I shall offer you my first advice."

"Based on my understanding of government affairs, the position of Chief Magistrate is redundant in that the man assigned to the post merely acts as a glorified assistant to the Lord Minister of Instruction - discharging the latter's duties as if they were his own. The continued designation of a Master of Purification therefore fosters a spirit of procrastination amongst the higher officers of the Court and unnecessarily strains the State bureaucracy and His Majesty's Treasury."

"These said," Jun added, "I humbly advise His Majesty to abolish the position of Chief Magistrate and immediately promote the man holding the rank to the post of Chief Minister. If promulgated swiftly, this act shall send a strong, albeit implied, directive to the court officials mandating them to persevere in their posts for nobody save His Majesty has a lifelong license over his earthly holdings. Further, this edict will remind the Realm that the State of Chu continuously makes efficient the conduct of her affairs both domestic and foreign. This gesture shall attract all under Heaven, men of talents in particular, to settle in Chu and submit themselves to His Highness' rule."

"May the words of Your Majesty's Chief Magistrate find favor in the eyes of the King." Jun concluded as the new Chu official bowed.

((I'm a greedy bastard trying to up his luck a notch higher. Don't hurt me.))

Si Yong Deng the warrior of Ping Yuan traveled to the city of Chen to seek employment. Even warriors need money... He reached the gates of the palace.

Si Yong Deng: I'm seeking lord Chen She or anyone who is involved in overlooking employment in his kingdom.

The guards looked at the warrior and his weapons.
Chen She is often busy with ruling this land. If you pass over those weapons and allow us to search you we can at least get you admittance to one of his Generals.

Si Yong Deng gave them his weapons and sighed when he gave them his axe, because for such a strong warrior with such a meek weapon was embarrassing. However, he hopes his skills would assist in getting him employment.

Si Yong Deng: This would be acceptable.

Deng Yan then allowed the search and followed the guards to meet one of the generals.

(ooc: assuming the search goes through a-okay)

After the search had been done and completed the captain of the guards signaled for the man to come forward. Turning he begun to lead the man down the halls as two more guards followed up behind the guest. The inside of the 'headquarters' had not changed much since its first days. The inside of the halls and the surrounding area's crowded with a diversity of people. The pace of the group slowing considerably before coming to a sudden halt. Looking to his side the captain stared out into the sea of people before glancing to the guest. "General Niu Xiong is somewhere within the crowd of people. I hope you do not mind pushing past them." he said before moving forward.

(Should you follow..) .....

Quietly the captain whispered into the general's ear as the noise of the surrounding crowd drowned out much sound. In return his eyes shifted upon the guest and stayed there for the time being. The five guards around the general standing about rather laxly. Taking a seat upon a nearby crate the general spoke.

"So my guest. All I know of you is that you wish to speak with our King Chen She. If you do not mind my intrusion may I have your name and reason? In these times a man simply cannot request an audience with our King and expect it. Not with the Qin and their dogs still around."
