Ok, somewhat long post. Some of the things in here might be useful for all of you.
Neither of us were sure what you meant about the third bout being run incorrectly. Perhaps it had something to do with the stuff previously mentioned?

See Wichai, you are right in your last post there. The Intimidate skill is for battle only; has nothing to do with dueling. The Intimidate tactic is inside of the Yueshu school.
As for the rest of you, I can't tell who is dueling who. Let's try to go one at a time, please? I suppose I have the Li Dao Wen/See Wichai redo/rematch, since I already have both of their tactics. Can you guys figure out the rest in a much more clear fashion for me?
I talked to Loc about this, since I understand the dueling system a bit better than him, and I think I can explain most of these things. First off, Unseat Opponent is a horse-melee tactic, and you were on foot, so that couldn't be used. Second, he said that both Guard and Intimidate were in the prog. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but there is a 50% roll for each tactic to be used. Most likely, Intimidate and Guard never got successful launch rolls, meaning they were never attempted (fairly bad luck, to be sure). The idea behind the launch roll, as I recall, is that in the rushed situation of a duel, you don't always have the time to do everything you want to do.Bourne wrote:Umm... Loc?
