I will now evaluate your favorite games, while including none of my own. Therefore, I may mock without fear of being mocked in return!
Xiang Zhuang wrote:24. Ultima VI: The False Prophet (SNES)
7. Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny (PC)
Loser! At least play VI on PC! This was great though, in sheer number of hours played, only Ultima IV on the old Commodore 128 could match it for me. I somehow missed V.
Xiang Zhuang wrote:18. Suikoden III (PS2)
I really liked the storyline of 3, but the battles, especially when you used magic, were weak. Two was good as well.
Xiang Zhuang wrote:17. The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (N64)
13. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
I never really played any Zelda's really after Zelda II. Not sure why, they seemed to be good games.
Xiang Zhuang wrote: 16. King's Bounty (Genesis)
Really, this was a pretty lame game. But I played it a lot. I guess that makes me lame too. I had like . . . 8000 Pikemen!
14. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (XBox)
Simply awesome. I loved it, and while I like Star Wars, I'm usually not a fan of Star Wars games. This one was superb.
12. Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII (PS2)
8. Romance of the Three Kingdoms III (SNES)
VII was a great leap. I played III some, but probably played IV the most. I'm pretty fond of X as well.
11. Tecmo Super Bowl: Final Edition (SNES)
I played one of the Tecmo games on Sega Genesis a whole lot, but can't remember which one it was. I loved the Houston Oilers - Moon to Slaughter or Jefferies for an 80 yard TD!
9. Final Fantasy VII (PSX)
4. Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
I have great memories of this series. But I tried replaying VII and realized that the storyline and dialogue are downright awful. Makes me wish I hadn't replayed it so I could have retained my nostalgia. VI is still very fondly remembered, and I am reluctant to replay it.
6. Unchartered Waters (SNES)
Yes! Superb! Pirates was a close second at the time, but this game was great.
3. The Magic of Scheherazade (NES)
This game was really solid, especially for the NES. Not #3 solid, but solid.
2. Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX)
This was very, very good. The only gripes I had were the special characters were way too good compared to the standard ones, and that Calculators made the game way too easy.
1. Super Monaco Grand Prix (Genesis)
Never played it.

I can't believe you left off the Shining Force games. Shining Force 1 and Warsong were the games that convinced me to spend the money for a Genesis. Secret of Mana, since I played it two-player with my friend, probably also would go high on my list.

I really liked Warcraft II and Starcraft. Morrowind was a well-done game.

Sid Meier's Civ games are also easily top 10 for me.

But the game I have the most fond memories about is still probably Final Fantasy I. Like VII was when it came out, it was revolutionary. No console RPG had come CLOSE to lasting 20 hours, with Dragon Warrior only reaching around 8. I remember getting the boat from the Pirates, and thinking I should be near the end, but that was barely 1/20th of the way into the game. It would probably suffer terribly in my estimation if I played it now, but that's why I refuse to replay it!

Civ - been a fan for 15 years, from the age of 5, that's something.

Total War

Half Life

Football Manager 2k6 (CM 03/04 also, before the Sigames/eidos split)

That's my must of titles.

I'll generally play all other types of games, although I found myself liking western over the japanese ones. Partly of the choices provided in western and the quality of design.

Creative Assembley's game design of total warrior, over Koei's Dynasty Warriors. (Even Koei's latest, is poor design)

I like sim games, like this. I've found they have the potential to try things you'd always hoped big developers would take a chance on.

Knights of Honour

Age of Empires 2!

Counter-Strike

Call of Duty 1-2

RTK IV

Pok'emon Silver....

There's more... I just can't think of them right now...

These are all of the games that I can really say that I love.

Suikoden III (PS2)
Suikoden II (PSX)
The Legend of Dragoon (PSX)
Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX)
Medieval: Total War (PC)
Age of Empires II (PC)
Civil War Generals II (PC)
Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII (PS2)

Civilization IV (PC)
NHL 2004 (PS2)
Yoshi's Island (SNES)
Megaman X3 (SNES)
Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1)
Heroes of Might and Magic III (PC)
Heroes of Might and Magic IV (PC)
Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII (PS2)
