One advantage of working at GameStop: I can answer some of those questions.
The anticipated price tag on the 360 is actually going to stay around $300-$350, which is one of its advantages over the PS3. Microsoft's anticipating its release not long before Thanksgiving this year.
This may come as a shock to PS fans (I'm one of them), but the PS3 is looking especially intimidating in terms of money. The currently anticipated price tag is going to be about $500, but Sony may reduce it to $400 before its release. The games will also be expensive, running at about $80 a pop. It makes sense, because the games will all by run on Blu-ray discs, a very new technological breakthrough, but to some people the price may come as something of a shock.
On top of the Blu-ray technology, the PS3 is supposedly going to outperform the Xbox 360 in graphics as well.
I've seen screenshots of Xbox 360 launch games, and it's hard to imagine being able to do better than that.

I haven't seen any Xbox pictures, but I've seen some of the PS3 ones, and they're pretty darn awesome. I think it's supposed to have twice the power in graphics and technology and all the like.
Regardless of which you like though, you just have to agree this will be an amazing time for video games all around.

Nope, not on hand. The latest issue of GameInformer has the main article dedicated to Xbox 360 screenshots, though.
Try looking up information/screenshots on Gears of War. It's supposed to be the new Halo in Xbox 360 terms. The images they give in GameInformer are supposed to be screenshots from the actual game, but I swear that you can't tell the difference.
