Krimzon - Form up your invasion force if you intend to face Xiang Yu. The two of you have to face each other first before either moves on to Ma Su, and Xiang Yu does not intend to retreat.

Also - Li Jiacheng's army will start with a supply level of 85% since it had to go off road to reach the crossing into Liang.

In the morning sun, Yi Guang turned quickly enough to make Angdun Huan jump. When he saw it was his Angdun Huan, the Supreme Commander's face grew a fraction less terrible, but the visible strain remained. Yi Guang had lived on anger and frustration for many weeks, while his men fought and died trying to protect the kingdom. If Xiang Yu had marched a little thinner on the ground, he would have had the armies smash into the Hegemonic Kings forces. Instead, it would be a pointless battle and the gamble at too great a cost. Pillaging and razing Liang was not as important as surviving the imperial armies. However, Xiang Yu had become a far too tempting target as he strained to catch glimpse of his personal command banner on the horizon.

"Give me good news." Yi Guang snapped. Angdun Huan hesitated and Yi Guang scowled as he saw it. "Then give me whatever you have." he said. "The scouts report a movement of imperial troops marching into neighboring Jiaoxi. The forces are lead by Ying Bu, the army is significant. You knew you could be facing a strong opposition in Liang." He watched as Yi Guang clenched his left fist hard enough to make his arm shake. "Tell me how to stop tens of thousands of troops falling on the kingdom from behind and I will stand in the Hegemonic Kings path as he comes out." Yi Guang said. Angdun Huan looked away at the large army that mocked their preparations. With most of Huainan stripped of soldiers, sixty eight thousand troops waited for orders and Yi Guang chafed at every wasted moment. He did not underestimate the risk taken but he tried to wring every advantage from the forces available to him. Angdun Huan dared not to speak further and could offer no solution. Yi Guang knew as well as his generals that if the Hegemonic King took control of Liang with his army, Qi would have to attack as soon as the imperial banners were lifted. In that he found little comfort.

Angdun Huan knew Wu's armies did not have the strength to resist an extended battle. He could only see one order to give. They could not win Liang. All the armies could do was retreat. Still, he waited for Yi Guang. "There will be other months, commander." Angdun Huan said, his patience dissolving. "Other battles." "You would have me retreat?" Yi Guang turned to his general once more. Angdun Huan shrugged. "Better than being killed. If you take Xiang Yu here, Chu's reinforcements will bolster his numbers. Our supplies are strained and Ma Dieu will strike at our rear in the coming month. The kingdom will be lost." Yi Guang snorted in disdain, then fell silent with the realization of his recklessness. "Send the order of retreat..." His head dipped, emotions coming at him in a great dark wave. Yi Guang grimaced, feeling sick as the rage left him.
