It was mid afternoon in a steaming August day. A pouch of gold filled with gold taels was placed on Po Huai's counter by a servant. It was a simple brown fabric tied around with a piece of string attached with a note. The note wrote: $200 for my horse, Lei Tian. As quickly as he had came into the store, he had disappeared to where he had originated from.

A voice then spoke out of nowhere, just when the kijo was about to throw another batch of rocks on the closed window, making her stop, a rock on her hand. With eyes moving from side to side, searching for Po Huai, she then shouted back again with a hearty "Okay, I'm going in!". Kicking the small wooden gate open, the kijo noisily entered the quiet ranch, hands on her waist and with a telling smile that she was up to no good. Today is the big day she was waiting for. Finally, a horse she can ride with the wind! Huh! That will show Ma Dieu's snotty officers who's the real boss in racin.. *plok*

Kijo: "Ahhh! What's this..?! It's a... Poooo Huai!"

The kijo stomped and stomped the ground angrily, as she walked with her now dirty boots, muttering merchant curses at the probably sleeping Po Huai. The sound of hooves quickly took her attention though, as she continued to walk almost with a limp, practically scratching her boots across the grass. There it goes again, behind that small hill, a mighty horse cry echoing in the misty morning air that made her smile again with excitement. Wasting no time, the kijo climbed up the grassy hill, neck outstretched as if to peek what's beyond.

And there it was, a tall, white... WHAT THE HECK IS THAT THING?!


Sitting on its belly, happily chewing its breakfast was the.. horse thing from the bloody whatever it came from. The kijo can't help but start looking around for another horse nearby... none, there was no horse around. Where is my horse then? Leaving her gaze to go back to the white weirdo, sitting high and cocky, chewing something in its mouth like some alleyway gangster of Jiujang.


Kijo: "Tch. I was pretty sure I heard a mighty horse cry around here.."

The kijo decided to sit down as she began to remove her smelly boots one by one, grumbling to herself at the animal in front of her, flapping its ears like some unholy union of horse and cow. Is this ugly thing even a horse? Wait, maybe this is a new breed. Some experimental project of Po Huai's. How dare he do that to me?! Experimenting on my horse! Ahh! Whatever it is, it's ugly!

Kijo: "Oi you! Yes, I'm talking to you ugly horse thing! Get up, start moving! I wanna go home now."

Yet the white weirdo just looked at her from the side. Staring back at her at as if she was some little worm, looking at the soiled boots on her hands, then looking back up at her... and actually rolled its eyes with an audible sigh, before looking away arrogantly like some stuck up noble! The kijo opened her mouth as if to say something, closed it again as if in a loss of words, then left her mouth hanging open, more so by surprise then quickly replaced by anger. Ahh! Dont give me that attitude!

Kijo: "Huh! I don't know what you are and I don't even care, you hear me?! We're going home now! Stand up! You won't run?! You won't run?!"

The kijo began to prod the white horse thing, hovering the smelly soiled boots dangerously close to its face. The animal widened its eyes as if in surprise, looking at her with both disgust and contempt. It then began to stand up, making a mighty horse cry that seemed to be eerie, knowing where it's coming from, and quickly ran to escape her. The kijo began to laugh with a devilish gleam in her eyes, boots in hand, chasing the animal out of the ranch in barefoot, trying to catch up.

[Lurking Tyranny]

An emissary baring the robes of the Chu court comes to the Turf club. The man summons the proprietor and announces that he has a request from the highest echelons within the Chu court for a horse. "Is there anyone here who can serve me? I have an order for an extremely fast horse for an individual within the Chu court which must be filled this month."

Po Huai bowed to the man and said "Greetings oh wonderful emissary. Unfortuantely I am not able to train one horse this month. However if you are willing to wait for about 3-4 months, I think I have the opportunity to work out one for the court. Is this acceptable to you?"

A warrior drenched in alcohol, vomit and piss, crashes his way into Po Huai's establishment!

"Ai... hic... I am ... the Great MI NUM !! I bear message from ... Li Jiacheng!" he blurps out.

"A +5 speed horse!!" he growls and looking like he's about to collapse.

"Hmm... M.. Mister Li Jiacheng will payy!!" he waves his clenched fist.

"The horse will be paid when you are done!"

"Gimme discount! HIC!!"

"And yes... Li Jiacheng... will pay." Mi Num makes an evil grin, and passes out.

A youth comes after him then,
"So sorry, right? My name's Ma Kan, Master Mi Num's keeper, right?
My Master, he's always drunk, right?"

"So, excuse me, right?"
Ma Kan drags Mi Num out of there then once done.

"Ah yes Li Jiacheng officers again. We must sign a long term contract. Sure you get your horse but you have to wait for a while, I have a huge backlog to clear."

After several months, Li Jiacheng came down personally to thank Po Huai for his help in providing several excellent mounts for his officers. Po Huai, I will probably need a very good warhorse soon when you have the time. The finest to roam the lands. It may require some planning ahead and you may want to start looking for the most ill-tempered Xiongnu horse to break in.

OOC: One of the uber duelist horses. Exact combi to be confirmed, one of those 3 mths project.........

Huang Ning walked into the Turf Club in his slightly cheap, but formal garments. He tells the attendant quietly. "I want a horse with five quicknesses." Then he emphasizes the number five with his hand, showing five fingers. "Five."

"When will you be finished?."

Po Huai said to Li JiaCheng "This is the horse our of your officer wanted. Please take it back to him. As for the new plans, what are your specifications. I will train one right after I am done with your other officer's horse."

As another customer came in, he said "Well my friend, I am quite swamped right now. If you do not mind waiting, I could train one at 200. But it will take quite a while."

Pointing to Li Jiacheng he said "My long term customer just gave me a super project and will take me quite a time."
