Jin was talkign with his chief body guard Kia Su when Dao was led into the room. After tea has been served and Dao urshered to a seat, Jin asked

Dao bowed thanked the guard then bowed to Kia Su and then he turned to king Liu bowed and sat at the table and said

"King Liu thank you for the welcome" My name is Dao Yun I am an ex commander I use to command the escort units for supplies and officials. I am now just a baby sitter for fat lazy rich merchants and VIP’s I know my talents are going to waste.

I herd some men at the tavern talk of you and your invasions and that you are trying to rid the land of chaos, so I decided to come and offer you my spear in your efforts to bring peace"

Dao Yun then waited to see what would happen.

Lak took a deep breath, it felt good to be outside. As they entered Shou Yang and left their military escort far away, the Duke looked at Rui and smiled.

"I know you're nervous, but it's well worth the risk if we can save any of our men's lives. It will all be over soon."

Arriving at the building, both men dismounted. Rui announced the Duke and both men submitted their weapons, horses and to a search.

"If you would be so kind to inform the King that we have arrived. If he has time, I would meet with him before my business in Shou Yang."

Fei Lak was urshured with full formalities to Liu Jin's personal study where the King of Wei awaits. After exchangeing formalities, and making sure that tea was served to his guests, Jin waved all personal pages out of the room. Except for Kia Su ,who stood stoicly out of ear shot near the door of the study, there was no one else in the room, though guards were posted outside the room to ensure the safety of both rulers within.

"May I enquire the matters that led to Marquis Fei visiting this wartorn province?" Jin asked respecfully.

"The last time I was in Wei, I was a lone traveler determined to visit all of our land, before all this chaos, all this war and responsability. I wish I could say I came here so that we could finally meet your majesty, alas, I fear I am imposing on you and your men to provide a safe haven for myself and a visitor that should arrive soon. I am to meet with Princess Xia."

Lak paused for a moment.

"I hope you can forgive me for putting you in such a position, but I hope that perhaps we can save many lives following these discussions. It is not too late for you to refuse of course, I just did not have the time to make preparations to advise you before my arrival as we are fighting against time to find a solution to the wars in Jibei."

He hoped his host did not feel ambush by Lak's request, it was not his intention.

The entourage from Yan arrived in Wei without so much of a hassle. Xian Long Rui however, was in a silent mood; he felt quite a bit of discomfort at the thought of having to meet Princess Xia again after.. so many things have changed. He had admired her skill and beauty during his visit to Yin in what seemed like a warp in the scheme of the gods. That time was much more peaceful.

Still he kept his feelings and his disconcertion to himself as they entered the presence of the king Liu Jin.

He merely gestured his respect, and said very little; he was on his guard, having to be ready at all times. He knows that even without weapons, bare knuckles from him could still very much kill, though he did not relish the thought of smashing faces with his own skin.

He merely stood in the presence of the two allied warlords, a frown covering his jade-like complexion..

An attendant bowed to General Xian and motioned to a hallway in the distance.

"This way my General, my liege king has given strict instructions that only your Marquis and the princess, and they alone, are to proceed to his study."

He motioned to the guards that were arrayed around the courtyard. "Your leader's safety is in good hands. What you see here are just the visible portion of the guards. Many remain out of sight at vantage points. My king has taken all precautions to ensure the safety of both negotiating parties. After all, it would be a major embarassment to our king should anything untold happen on either of them.

You men will be well taken care of in the rest rooms outside the city gates. As for you, this way please. Our supreme commander awaits you in the next hall. "

Rui was led to another hall where Weilong will meet Rui.

Rui's face almost dropped to the floor and his heart became even more flustered. Still he had to comply, not wanting to risk the negotiations merely because of his emotionality. Casting one more look at his liege, he sighed heavily, and followed the attendants to where he was to meet General Weilong.
