"Good day my senior sire" he said, bowing respectfully to the old man. And turnign to the young man, "You must be Kia Su, I was hoping you would respond to my letter. Tell me my firends, is there any information I can offer to sway your opinion towards joining us?"

Kia at first was shocked when the guard asked for his sword but was checked by his teacher.He reluctantly agreed to be searched. Upon seeing Liu Jin he was about to say something when the old man interrupted him

"Greeting, my name is Dun Chong and this is my student Kia Su.He is a man of weapons and unfortunately he lacks the ability to speak properly and that is my job. I read the letter out to him and he seemed interested to join you and I am obliged to follow him wherever he goes also..." Suddenly Kia yelled out " ME.....WINE!!!!"

The old man sighed" I am sorry for his manners it will be something we have to work on. He is getting better actually."

Jin chuckled a little. "It seems our friend here wants some wine, unfortuantely we only have tea served within this hall at this time of the day. We are cutting back on expenses to ease the taxes on the general populance, and even myself am restrained from conuming wine before nightfall. Perhaps if he can stay around, I will be glad to host a tiny banquet tonight, out from my personal housekeeping budget, wine will be served then."

Kia looked at Liu for a moment and then he asked Dun"No....Wine???" DUn looked sadly and shook his head.

Kia was outraged but he remembered what his teacher had told him and he decided to calm down."Me...Want...Work...You" he said trying his best to not humiliate himself.

"You....Say....Yes????" Kia looked hopefully at Dun. When he saw Dun nod he was happy"Thank...Me...Find...Wine" and he proceded to wal of without saying goodbye. Dun let out a hurried apology before running after Kia.

A young lady comes in riding on a horse to one of the guards. "Excuse me, I'm looking for Yuan Shu. Can you direct me to him?"

"Why yes, of course, you are the aforementioned Meifing Niao?" the guard bows "Your work at the Husbandry Stable reaches even as far as Wei, it is a pleasure to meet you... if you would please relinquish possession of your weapons I can take you to Yuan Shu at once. The Lieutenant General is awaiting your arrival at the Audience Hall."

Assuming your dagger is given to a guard, you are lead into a terraced estate and through some hallways until finally you reach the Audience Hall.

"I'll be waiting outside for you, Meifing."

Upon entry into the chamber you are greeted by Yuan Shu who wore only a deel robe covered tunic and leggings over soft leather boots. His skin was clean and gleaming and his hair groomed in a presentable fashion. Yuan Shu walked from across the large room to greet Miefing, clearly happy to see her.

"Miefing Niao, I can hardly believe my eyes, I am honored by your visit. Having received news of your travels to Shou Yang, I left Chenxiang immediately. Please be seated so we may talk together, comfortably... would you like some tea?"
