I bought Monty Python and the Holy Grail today, along with The Princess Bride. Now I can watch then whenever I want! :D

Holy Grail is such a class film. Its about twice as old as me, and still rocks. One of the best comedies of all time, a true legend!

My personal favourite was the Life of Brian, but generally any Monty Python films are immensely funny. :D

I actually was lucky enough to pick up one of the Special Edition DVD's of Monty Python and the Holy Grail that has one of the film cells with it. Even as old as that movie is, it is definitely a classic. And I'm not ashamed to admit that I was born in the same decade that movie came out in. :D

Saw War of the Worlds yesterday at the cinema. I actually quite liked it. Give credit to the special effects there, I was told it wasn't too far off the book, which always pleases me and film really did evoke a sense of fear in me, that this could very well happen. My only grudge is it seemed to make America count as the whole world again. There is more than just America in this world Spielberg.

There won't be for very much longer at the rate things are going  .

But seriously, I liked War of the worlds too. I guess i had to stick with that one family so that it could tell a story, rather than it being a series of events. So in that sense i don't mind it too much.

I love Monty Python and the movies. Just when you're around a group of people who have quite a bit of the movie memorized, it'll make you want to rip your brain in half after a few hundred days.

Anyone seen Fantastic Four? I was thinking of seeing that, as I've always been a comic book fan. I just heard the messed up Dr. Doom, which is unforgivable. Hail Victor Von Doom, King of Latervia!

I also saw War of the Worlds as well. I don't know. For some reason, as the movie went on, it just seemed as though that even the aliens seemed to be not caring about what they just conquered...

I was reading a couple of reviews on the Fantastic Four. They are, to say the least, very mixed. Some criticis have said its terrible, there was something on the TV about it on Friday night calling it 'Craptastic' but then I've read some fans saying they enjoyed the film, merely because there has finally been a remake of the Fantastic 4 without using cartoon animation.
