Deng sits in silence lost in thought. Akechi stirs to Dengs left and says

"He doesn't even speak of all people he looks for power here in Jiaodong and nothing else there is no honor in this brother..."

Akechi trails off as Liao raises his hand.
"He is right Chen although my brother has spoken out when he should have held his tongue you have just spoken of what could be seen as a short sighted plan. Do you not wish to bring safety and prosperity to all?"
Liao chuckles softly.
"It may seem foolish of us but we wish to help all. It is a bit ambitious but it is our goal for now. I have come here first cause you currently employ my brother Zun and he has spoken highly of you. What could we expect if we were to join your force what type of work would you have us do?"

"I was unaware that Liao Zun was your brother, for had I known, I would have invited him to this meeting. If you wish to speak with him, I can have him come now or afterwards."

"We currently don't have the strength to think beyond the boundaries of Jiaodong, thus why I never mentioned it. I have started reaching out to others so that war may not ravage our lands and people. I would rather not fight Tian Dan, but he has threatened to end the life of my friend and lord Tian Loc should any of his men encounter him, thus I cannot allow him to live for that reason alone. However, this so-called King of Qi has executed Feng Zuo who refused to join him after Tian Dan and his forces attacked them unprovoked in his quest to seize the land, and the governor Wang Huan, who was executed for his loyalty to The First Emperor, both were from Dicheng . I admit that it may appear that we are doing much the same, but we have allowed those who wished not to serve us to live, as our Officer Fan Che can attest to. When his lord abandoned him and his companion Yao Jia to their fates, I offered them a place with us, which fan Che accepted, but Yao jia didn't. I allowed Yao Jia to do whatever he wanted his life, and had his wounds tended to before he left. When we hopefully take Jimo this month, I plan on a major troop recruitment drive, which will require considerable training. I also plan on recruiting more men and women to aid in developing the land, a task your brother has already begun, and he should be finished building the first of hopefully several new villages for those who lost their home to war can live in at the end of this month."

Having said a fair bit, Chen Yun waited to hear what they thought of his plans and if they wished to speak to Liao Zun. Hopefully he had answered more of their questions and given them a better opinion of himself

"I will need to speak to my brother we are blood and my karma has taken me where it will and that has not always been with him. This time perhaps i can serve along his side. As to the rest you have shown true wisdom. I think that your cause seems worthy."
Deng glances to his left and says softly almost a wisper
"i think you owe him an apology."
Akechi quickly dropped to his knees and bowed his head to the floor three times.
"Excuse my hasty words sir."
He stands up quickly looked at Deng with no anger or malice. Deng cleared his throat and begins to speak.
"I will make my decision soon i just need to speak to my brother first is this acceptable general?"

"Yes, I have no problem with that. I hope to hear of your response when you make your decision." Replies Chen Yun. motioning for a guard, he instructs him to guide the guests to Liao Zun.

Kei Gao approaches the guards at the gates of the Audience hall followed by Qu Long. "I have this letter," he presents the letter, "I would like to see General Chen Yun... the sender of it, my companion Qu Long will come with me."
They permit any search...
Long grunts as Gao finishes his sentence...

"Very well, it seems you have been indeed been invited by General Chen Yun. I ask that you hand over your weapons and allow us to search you." Responds the guard. Providing they had no objections to handing over their weapons, Kei Gao and Qu Long are escorted to the audience chamber once the search was over. Once within, they see a man seated in a chair.

"Welcome, I am Chen Yun, the one who wrote the letter. I am glad that you could make it. So, what can I do for you."

Kei Gao and Qu Long stand side by side rather than sitting, announcing themselfs one by one. "You took the trouble of writing a letter to me, my family throughout the years have always aligned one of their offspring to a Lord. You however seek to 'employ me' for my 'covert' skills... tell me, do you think me as just an assassin, a dagger in which to stick in your enemys back? Or perhaps is there something elce?" Said Kei Gao.

Qu Long kept facing forward, not supprised by what Gao said having discussed the letter with him that very week. "Tell us of your lord General Chen Yun... we did not travel all this way for nothing," said Qu Long in a more respectful tone.

(OOC:Sorry for the late reply, got called into work as I woke up, so couldn't reply when I planned to.)

"I wasn't planning to use you as an assassin, more for gathering intelligence and thwarting enemy attempts to outdo us. As they say, knowledge is power, and knowing information on targets can mean the difference between victory and defeat. As of yet, I have no need for assassins, though that could change, as these are troubled times. As for information about my lord, Tian Loc was an able commander whom I have served for about 3 1/2 years now. We spent that time hunting bandits to earn a living, which served us well when we took Gaomi in September. Tian Loc has an older brother named Tian Gong who has been quite sick for a number of months. Originally Tian Gong was going to be our leader, due to us having based our operations out of his village, and being the elder brother, but his illness prevented that, so Tian Loc took charge. Since that time, he has work tirelessly to acquire as much money as possible for our forces without overtaxing the people, as he spent his youth among them."

Chen Yun took a moment to pause and take a drink of water. "Is there anything else you would like to know?"

Liao Deng approaches the audience hall slowly he needs to speak to Chen Yun once more he has made up his mind but there is one more thing he must ask the him before he joins. He nears one of the guards and asks to meet with Chen the guard leaves to seek out his master.

"You might as well search me now so i am ready!"

He submits to the search and awaits word.
