With that Shen Li began laughing whilst patting his old friend on the back, "Your a good friend Lak!"
Thinking to himself "I hope your a good leader too..." as a sigh overcame hisface, remembering the previous days of Qin and how it fell apart. "Come on old mate, lets go to the tav!"

Shen Li accepts to join Fei Lak and serve him!

One late afternoon, November.

The whole of Shanggu was abuzz for some peculiar reason, as the gates welcomed an unknown stranger into the fray of people flocking to the streets. The tall, lightly built man would have seemed inconspicuous had it not been for the lithe halberd he was carrying around, the sign that he is a warrior of some strength and skill. Looking around the streets he could see people smiling, people chatting.. There was no lawlessness. There was no sign of crime.

Ascending the steps of the city palace, the young man took out a plain looking scroll from within his robe, and addressed the guards, "I have been summoned by your Master, Fei Lak of the Coalition of Yan. Tell him that Xian Long Rui of Xu has arrived."

He pressed his halberd forward, affirming that it was okay for them to take it.

As the guard reached out, two men appeared behind them, obviously arguing about something. The guards turned to look and smiled back at the visitor.

"That is Lord Fei right there, arguing it seems with General Ma Dieu."

The Prefect paused as he noticed he was being watched, he frowned and seemed to recognize the visitor.

"Master Xian, is that you?"

He pressed past Dieu who was insisting the Prefect stay inside.

Han Ziu and his men reported to the city of Shanggu so that he could join Fei Lak’s forces. He did not like to have to have all this ceremony stuff happen but the Prefect insisted so he was to present his men to Fei Lak in their camp. He waited for the man he would be calling Lord to arrive.

OOC: Short and sweet

Lak arrived with his small escort, with the recent death of Liang Feng, he had not chosen someone to replace the fiery warrior, it seemed the original members of the coalition were dropping like flies. He approached the defunct commander from Kung Xian's kingdom and bowed.

"Well met cousin, though we failed in our first attempt in Ji, I am glad you were able to help secure it this time. I see you are proud of your men, as you should be, they will be well taken care of. Welcome to our forces."

OOC: Post OI in appropriate place, I see you already posted your soldiers in kingdom transfers, thanks

Cocking his head slightly at the sight of the two seemingly arguing men, Rui smiled gently. He then bowed thrice to Fei Lak before addressing his inquiry.

"Indeed, Lord Yan, I am Xian Long Rui. I have been honored by a letter from the esteemed Lord of Yan, thus I have come to your summons."

He looked straight into the eyes of Fei Lak, trying to find out if this one is something different from all the others, just as the rumors had been spreading out..

Lak nodded, he seemed to be a fantastic mood despite Ma Dieu's glare.

"Rui, do you ride? I'm up for a ride and would love to have your company."

He turned to the guards after he notcied Xian Long Rui had no horse

"Bring me my horses Grey Lightning and Black Thunder."

Surprised at the Lord's reaction, Rui nonetheless curtsied before the lord's generosity. "It would honor me to accompany you for a ride, Lord Yan."

Looking at the two fine steeds brought to him, he looked a bit sheepish, since he did not know which one the lord preferred to ride on. He did not want to take away his favorite ride.

Lak held his hand out

"So, choice is yours, grey one is faster but the black one is a bit more feisty."

He winked, waiting for the warrior to make up his mind, ignoring his general's glare.

With the lord's kind words, Rui bowed slightly. Approaching the Gray steed, he stroked its hair, and looked it in the eye. It was gentle. And gentle suited him well.

"If I may, Lord Yan, I will take the gray one." he said almost apologetically, as he continued to stroke the great horse. "It would be a grand ride for this humble man."
