Chen Yun's Audience Hall - Gaomi

Around Mid-Afternoon a familliar face arrived at the steps to Gaomi's Audience Hall. Liu Lu Xiang, a good friend of Tian Loc's, had been missing for almost a month now. He looked very ill and by no means his cheery old self. His plain black robes hung around him and it was more than apparent that he had lost an awfull lot of weight. He tackled each step one at a time and by the time he reached the top he had broken into a sweat. Clasping his hands and bowing to the guards he spoke in a rather hoarse tone of voice:

"I am Liu Lu Xiang, personal friend of Tian Loc. Im sure he will be extremelly anxious to meet with me as I have been absent from his court for weeks now."

Xiang with his left hand wiped his watery eyes. He was not upset or anything his eyes were just really sore. The doctor told him he had been hit with a severe bout of Flu [Whatever that was]. Under doctors orders he had been under house arrest. He was feeling better now though, even if he didnt look it.

Hearing that Liu Lu Xiang had showed up, Chen Yun had the guards send him in without putting him through the normal security precautions. Upon Liu Lu Xiang's arrival, Chen Yun got off his seat and approached the man. "It is good to see you again. Your return will make Tian Loc quite happy, as he was sad you could not make it to the battle. Tell me, what was the cause of your absense, as you seemed to be looking forward to the battle. Is everything OK?"

Liu Lu Xiang gave a rather weak smile as Chen Yun greeted him. Smiling hurt his face so he tried not to do it too often. When his absence was brought up he cleared his throut then responded:

"I have been extremelly Ill my friend. Doctor says its something called the flu, Ive been under house arrest for a few weeks. I may not look it but Im feeling a bit better. Hopefully Ill be back up and healthy in a couple of days."

He coughed as he felt his throut closing up. After a moment of coughing and swallowing he felt he could continue:

"I thought I should make an appearence just to let Loc and yourself know whats going on. I also wanted you to know that I am and always will be a loyal officer of Loc. I shall relinquish control of Pushang and as a gesture of my loyalty turn over my small personal army. I am sure they will be more than happy to fight for a worthy cause."

He bowed slightly as he couldnt quite get down low enough.

Seeing the trouble Liu Lu Xiang was going through, Chen Yun moved to the man's side and raised him up. "There is no need to bow before me. We are both friends of Tian Loc, and as we are not currently a large force or entertaining guests, you may treat me as an equal. I am glad to have you aboard, and I am sure Tian Loc will be happy as well, especially when your health improves."

Liu Lu Xiang is accepted into Tian Loc's forces. Post your OI into our thread, and then transfer your holdings in the PH thread for that, so I can adjust the KT accordingly. Welcome aboard!

Xiao-Niao Min moved with grace through the city of Gaomi, her follower Hong Ling behind her. She had been travelling a lot of late, and perhaps she could narrow down her goal in this city.
As she reached Tian Loc's audience hall she moved towards the closest guard, in his green and grey uniform.

"Excue me sir, I am wondering if you could help me. I was invited here by a man named Chen Yun, and I am was wondring if you could help me locate him?" Min would ask, Ling watching on.

"Sure, can I have your name first though, I need to send word ahead. There is also a search to make sure you are not carrying concealed weapons. It is customary for us to do so." Replied the guard.

"Of course, my name is Xiao-Niao Min, and this is my friend Hong Ling." replied Min, as she prepared herself for the usula search. She never quite liked it, but these things were needed in these times of chaos she assumed.
"Ling, you can wait out here. He doesn't like not having his weapons taken from him, so its to prevent any confusion." Min explained to the guards.

"Very well." The guards proceeded to search Xiao-Niao Min, and turned over any objects they felt could be turned into a weapon to Hong Ling. while that happened, one of the guards left to inform Chen Yun. Afterwards they led Xiao-Niao Min down the halls into the main room. There, seated in his usual place, was Chen Yun.

"Welcome to Jiaodong. I am Chen Yun, and you are Xiao-Niao Min, correct? I understand your companion remained behind because of security precautions. I understand how he feels, and do not hold any ill will. I am glad you made the journey, and will allow you to ask the first question."

Min thought this over for a second.

"I would like to know your feelings on the chaos that is happening across the land if I may ask?" Min spoke, not want ing to give away her feelings on the subject just yet.

Hearing Xiao-Niao Min's words, Chen Yun began to speak. "The chaos of the times disturbs me greatly. I was once a bounty hunter, and for 3 years I hunted down those who assaulted the people and ignored the law, mostly on my own. When I met up with Tian Loc, I joined him and his men in hunting down larger groups of lawless men. Now we control and protect most of Jiaodong from rebels and bandits who would prey on the people."

Chen Yun took a moment to let her process that information, as well as let him think of his own question. Finally decided on one, he continues. "Tell me a bit about yourself, what kind of skills and knowledge do you possess that could benefit us here? That would help me gain some insight into you without having to ask personal questions you may not be comfortable answering at this time."
