Bai Jia Le was preparing a treat in Xingyang to welcome his first captive, and also to celebrate the victory against Ying Ranzhen. That was when he first heard of the news that Zhang Liang has been escorted towards Luoyang. With questions on his head the governor summons the inquisition commander Zu from Luoyang.

Shortly after the execution, he recieved word of the summons and rides to the capital. Making his way impatiently to the council room he enters to find Jia Le waiting there. With a short bow he waits for his lord to speak.

Calmly Le speaks to the man in front of him. "Have a seat first commander Zu."
After Zu has gotten his seat Le asks immediately "I just received words that you executed... or should I say boiled our guest? You do know that the old man has quite an influence on a number of warlords don't you? And didn't he offer to join us or so my report says?"

Taking his seat and become overly comfortable. Shi gives a apathic shrug. "I did indeed. And I'll say his influence is of no concern when balanced with the damage he could do as an enemy. And as to his offer to join? It was a passive joke. A meager attempt at survival and it failed."

"So..." Le replies with a somewhat intimidating voice.
"Where is the messenger that was sent to consult with me on those decisions?" asks Le.
"Failing to deliver those important information makes me look stupid, and people DIE when I look stupid." moaned the young man.

Shi laughed heartily. His billhook at his side as he rises and slams down both fists down on the table as he looks towards his ruler. "You hired me for what? You want me to make decisions or walk you through everything? After I save this city for you, you have the gall to threaten me Governor? That seems poor gratitude."

Nonchalant by the sudden outbreak, Le leaned back and put his legs on the table, before speaking.

"Commander Zu, you should know better that I have offered you more, and now I had given you fame as well. Our gratitude is... mutual so as to speak." smiles the governor suddenly. "Have a seat first commander." speaks the young man before continuing with a calm and peaceful tone. "You see, I have considered you as a part of the family, all I ask for is a little respect ( ). I can assure you that I very much appreciate what you did on the battlefield, but I won't have you killing people who could be of better use to us alive. Zhang Liang could have been a good icon or err... figure to boost relationship with the regional overlords among his other abilities, and if you're afraid that he might run YOU CAN JUST CUT HIS LEGS OFF!" screamed Le suddenly, shocking the people in the room with his ever changing mood. "Oh well." dropping back to his seat his expression reverted back to his usual self. "The main reason I called you here today is to tell you not to boil people anymore. Be more creative next time commander. Xiang Yu already use that. If there's nothing else you can lea... Oh wait... by the way did you find anything useful on Zhang Liang? Like a map of Hann or something?" asks the man, with a grin on his face.

The young man leads the brute and his slave to the nearest recruitment station, where another soldier greets them as best as he could, seemingly intimidated by the slave behind the brute*. "Welcome to Xingyang." said the soldier nervously. "I suppose you're here for recruitment?" After scanning through the man and trying hard to avoid his eyesight, the recruitment officer continues. "Say... I have a post for head instructor for the Henan Inquisition. Would your master be interested in that?"

Zu Shi did not sit. He stared idly at his rulers out burst before calmly saying. "Anything I found, I have put in my personal collections. And I have no fear of calling you a fool. You seem to have no idea what Liang could have been capable of. And he refused to serve us. So he could not be trusted. If you feel my methods are not to your liking, I'll gladly take my leave of this province."

"NO!" yells Le. "I do believe you have no fear to call me a fool but just keep it TO YOURSELF! I am the ruler here! You don't call me a fool in public!" pausing and looking around the room he finds Bao and the rest looking away, whistling and seemingly ignoring what he had just said. Giving out a snorts Le continues his speech with Zu. "About your collection, I'll not confiscate them for now, but should I have use for them in the future I'll need your cooperation in this. I can assure you that your trophy room won't be lack of prized collections when the time comes. As for your methods, no... I don't have a problem with you leading man. However, if ever you come across a man of high society status I hope that you'll consult me regarding the punishment first. It's like you don't capture Xiang Yu and execute him without going through me! Right?!"

After relaying the message without so much as studdering, the slave is rewarded for his efforts with a punch to his temple. Any attempts to scream in pain would be silenced, as the foreigner once again tugged on his chain to constrict his slave's throat. Another series of grunts, another translation to be made.

"Master Caninus wishes to speak to your lord, personally. He says... er, he's not willing to negotiate with a plebeian."

"No. I'm afraid Governor Le has little time to meet up with random visitors, though I believe your master will be able to make a name for himself within a few months time. My offer stands the way it is. A lead instructor... or if he possesses any skills worth taking note of you can just tell me now." speaks up the recruitment officer, mostly unaffected by the slave's dire situation.
