One thing to remember about Chronicles and I think an extent legends... but Chronicles for certain is that it was based on a game and their own characters from some of the things I have read regarding those novels.

Not really if you take Generals or Warriors as a whole rather than as their subsections 34% and 27% then. I mean, they are still a general or a warrior. It's just that they have slightly different skill focuses.
