Well it is I think when you dont have locations, too easy to hit the cap and when you have the locations the cap doesnt matter too much.
Maybe start at a 9 NPC cap.
You could remove gold from scavenge results?

I think next version, rather than such a small npc camp maybe instead just have household costs? 5 gold per npc per turn maybe?
So effectively soft caps rather than hard caps?
Maybe it increases to 10 gold per npc when you have a town and 20 gold per npc when you have a city.

Maybe not having a strategist means that your support layer tactics are reduced effectiveness?
Not having a champion does the same but for melee?
Maybe have escape chance formula be something similar to duel chance now with it being escaping officer vs champion stats?

My point was made, as currently there is no incentive to conserve strength or make any strategic decision as there is no downside to juat throwing everything you have at the next target knowing the worse that can happen is you get tp insta warp back to defend

Anyhoo I think flatten the curve for stat gain next game Phailak. 0-30 - 50xp, 30-50 - 100xp, 50-70 - 200 XP, 70-85 400 XP, 85-100 800XP
