My statement that you quoted was referring to those PCs who would not do turns at all, not those who would not follow orders. If they are supposed to be autonomous then rulers shouldn't try to tell them what to do in the first place. Right, by my statements were in regards to that as well as to oth...

It is my feeling (no offense) that a lot of PCs can't be trusted to do their turns in the PHP system. My system on HoC isn't made for rulers. It never was. Sengoku Japan was centered around smaller Daimyo fighting it out, each having their own domains, etc. Only at the end of the Sengoku period wer...

I have a problem with how soldiers are given back at the end of a battle when it concerns multiple rulers. I find it unfair that the commanding ruler essentially decides what the other rulers get back when it comes to armaments and soldiers. It could easily be abused, where the commanding ruler coul...

Right. Patton studied Rommel and knew him like he knew his mother. He knew how he thought. But this is a different time where the writings about generals either insulted them or made them heroes. Basically, it was probably touted one way or the other. I am a fan of no stats. You might see a massive ...

Reagan Youth...hehe..I have their early stuff. Yeah, they're a good band. I got into searching for the old punk music about 12 years ago and amassed quite a collection. Mostly I find a lot from the LA area, since that is in the vicinety to me, and therefore pretty easy to get ahold of. Bad Religion ...

Bitchin' Camero baby! I love the Dead Milkmen. I haven't listened to them in a long time. I should get that CD out. I've heard of Rudimentary Peni but never heard their music. I will check them out. I am always looking for good bands. Especially older bands. A lot of the "punk" today is so...

While I totally and completely endorse using PHP for sims, it would be more something to do next game. At least to the magnitude that HoC was done. I have been working on a php KT script for Warlords, but it takes some time. To build a full on PHP based sim, it would take probably about 4 months of ...

If none of it's binding, why do it in the first place? I have noticed everyone so far seems to get a chance to change their strategy. Why not just have people post their forces, and they can do their strategy within 12/24 hours of the defenders posting? It makes sense.

I would have to suggest that you make up a section for all battles to go in, so that they are seperate from the other stuff. It might get cluttered after a while with all the PT archived results and all, and it just organizes it all a little better. :)

The only naval books I have read were historical books about Horatio Nelson, as well as a book on...uh...whoever that American Revolutionary naval officer was. :) Horatio Nelson was awesome though, at least in battle. Outside that, he was kind of a pathetic person with his love life.
