This is a bit similar to something already included (I think), but...

A mystic claiming to be able to talk to plants visits your area. He offers to encourage the crops to grow better in exchange for 100 gold. Do you accept his offer, or not?

Possible outcomes

You accept: It turns out he's not lying, or at least he somehow encourages the crops. Agriculture increases by (4d10+50).
OR
He's a fraud. You lose the money and nothing else happens.

You reject him: He really can talk to the crops... and, angered by your refusal, uses his abilities to hamper their growth. Lose (4d10+50) Agriculture. And, since the farmers aren't happy with this, and since damaging the crops is all YOUR fault, small drop in Public Support.
OR
He's a fraud, and nothing happens.

Busy polishing other ones, too. Although, I wonder if this is the best way to have them submitted.

A Hunting/Patrol random event.

Whilst hunting locals approach you, and tell you of a man eating tiger nearby. You can either go to face it, or head in the opposite direction.

If you choose to turn the opposite way, you will suffer a small popular support reduction, and or a small PS reduction.

If you choose to fight it, you must face the tiger (between 70-90 might). Obviously if you are killed by it, your character dies, if you flee from it, there are no negative effects, but you must have made an effort. If you kill it, you could receive some; Public Saftey, Fame, a cash/item reward and possibly a little bit of a gain in popular support.

The rewards can be varied from person to person, based on the strength of the tiger.

If something like this already exiest please infrom me and i will delete my post.

While walking along a dirt road, you spy two raggedly dressed individuals scurrying away from what appears to be a set of legs from behind some bushes. Curious, you immediately dart to the scene to find a beaten up young nobleman, still alive but breathing just bearly. Unable to move the man groans something. It seems to be a request to retrieve help.

You may:
-Choose to help the man back to the city, and his residence there. As you knock on the door to the youth's residence you are greeted by the head servant of a vast household. Seeing you helping his master back, he runs forward to help his master back into the household, ignoring you. Then a few minutes later, comes back out bowing, and praising you for aiding his master, in exchange he gives you 100 gold, as well as an old book. [Guide to the Yin Province (+1 Int)].

-Choose to rob and finish off the nobleman. In that case you search the individual's attire for anything of value. Him being in no state to fight back, he just continues to groan. After searching for a few moments you strip him of a pouch tied with a sash on his side. Inside you find a hefty amount of coins.
[Gain 250 gold].

-----------------------

Traveling through the marketplace one day, you stop at a nearby vendor presenting to you with a loud voice his wares. Suddenly as you turn your head to look at another vender's wares to your side, you notice the hand of a thief pulling at your coin purse on your belt.

You May:
-Grab the hand of the thief/catch him and cart him off to the local constable's. While looking around the constable's office you notice a large poster to one side, with what looks to be a sketch of the thief's gruff unshaved face, and the words neatly printed below, "If Caught: REWARD: 1000 GOLD!" Noticing your jaw drop after reading the poster, the constable tell's you, that the reward was a ploy set up by a local merchant to lure people to catch the individual. Sadly he also tells you that the reward was never approved by local authority, therefore he hands you a measely amount of 200 gold.
[Public Safety up!] [Receive 200 gold]

-Turn, and cut down the thief. Fortunately after the thief falls to the ground maimed by your attack, you find no one in the bustling market was hurt on accident. As the brigand struggles to get back up, you swing your blade at him again, finishing him off. Awed at your remarkable speed in killing the thief, rumors spread around about your skills.

One day while on the way to a relative's residence on the other side, you encounter a peddler with his wares spread all over the ground in a mess. Coming over you ask if you can help him, but as he turns to you and asks your help in picking up his wares, you notice some uncanny familiarity about the man. Bending over you start to collect several of the items for the man. Next thing you know you feel a big thud against your head, you see big blue birdies in your eyes, and you're out cold on the ground.
After what seems to be like days you wake up. Without opening your eyes you here several voices speaking quietly in an inaudible manner, yet quickly. Unsure what to do your eyes remain closed in order not to give away your awakeness to the group.

You may:

-Get up, drawing your blade and swing crazily like a mad man. As you open your eyes, you seem surprised to see your relative (the one you came to visit), and several aunts and uncles you haven't seen in a long time, hiding in the corner of what seems to be your relative's house. Dismayed your eyes fall to the floor, WOE AND BEHOLD you see (on accident) you have smitten your favorite uncle. After a moment of silence, your aunts start to scream. Eventually too surprised to do anything you wait, until a local constable bursts in with his men. Arrested you're brought back to the guardhouse. Considering your surprise, you don't realize that you left your posessions at your relative's house.
[Lose 100 GOLD] [Fame goes up! (Man who killed his uncle!?!?)]

-Open your eyes, and look around. As you take a look at your surroundings, several individuals suddenly jump out from behind furniture, and crates in the room, shouting, "SURPRISE!! IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!" Shocked you see half of your father's family smiling gleefully at you. Sitting you down onto a pillow, your relatives pass you one gift after another.
[Receive Tadpole's Guide to Fishing (+1 INT)] [Receive 50 GOLD] [Receive Nine-Fold Dagger (+2 MGT)]

While consulting your friends and fellows on a current problem of yours, inside the little gazeebo on the local lake, you suddenly spot something bizarre above. Your jaw drops, and you smack yourself in the face, you swear you just saw a flying pig pass over head. Driven crazy but what you see you run around the city screaming about what you've seen and pointing at the sky. People deem you crazy, and the local priest comes by to drive the evil spirits (everyone says you have them) out of you.

As you walk out of a tavern after a drink with an old friend, you notice a begger laying on the side of the building, groaning, and waving at you. Curious, you walk toward them. Seeing that he has caught your notice, the beggar unravels the ragged pouch hanging from his side, and pulls out a book, holding it in your view.

"This is a legendary manual from the days of old, that has been in my family for a long time. Unable to keep it unfortunately i must sell it in my current state. For 1000 gold i will part with it."

He waves it at you again.

You wonder if you should but it. Your hand moves downward to touch your coin pouch, feeling the weight of the gold. Should you buy the book or not.

Yes:
---You purchase the book, wiping away the grime that has accumulated on the cover, you read the weather-beaten front with awe. You are amazed to find that the book is a priceless antique on tactics, administrating, and the arts from the Qin era.
[Gain either, Battle or Zhoulu (+2-3 INT) OR Dian Heritage Annuals (+2-3 JUD)]
[- 1000 GOLD as payment for the book].
OR
Yes 2:
---After purchasing the book, you eagerly peruse the novel while walking away. After a couple pages, you notice that several pages are blank. Astonished you quickly check the next several pages, then the next several, and so on. A BLANK BOOK! you've been jipped!!
[- 1000 GOLD as payment for the book].

No:
---Finding yourself short of cash, and also unsure if the beggar is being truthful or not, you turn him down. Unhappy, the beggar spits on the ground at your feet, and mouths some very uncouth things under his breath, as you turn to leave.
OR
No 2:
---Annoyed at your mistrust of him, he stuffs the book back into his robe. As you turn to leave, the beggar throws a stone at you. It hits you on the lower back, and you feel a small pain.
[1-5% injury]

wow i love making these

One afternoon, while supervising the construction and repair of a local building, you are asked to help grab something by one of the other officials. As you run over, you hear the words, "WATCH OUT!" The next second you know a small brick has fallen from a higher area of the construction, dropped, brushed your head, and knocked you unconcious.

One day during your daily drilling at the archery range, you see a very smug, and gruff looking individual coming towards you. Seeing you let loose yet another arrow into the target, he quickly shouts at you. He then proceeds to gain your attention by throwing a large pouch at your feet, by the sound of it, it's a hefty bag of gold coins. THAT get's your attention. As he sees you finally notice him, he quickly challenges you to a competition of the best of three shots. Whom ever wins gains the coins.

---Yes 1: You go first after easily breezing through your shots, you notice that the man is now shaking nervously as he comes up to draw. You realize he's probably not heard of your legendary skill on the battlefield with the bow. Nervousness takes it's toll on the archer; his first arrow falls short, the second just barely touches it, and the last two barely out do the others. [Gain 100 GOLD].

---Yes 2: You soon realize after the match that you were overconfident. Your arrows don't fall short, but they never fail to score low. Pleased by the results, the challenger takes the coins and leaves you sulking. Rumors spread like the wind through your army, and the soldiers are displeased to have a general like you leading them.
[Army MORALE goes down].

---Yes 3: It's not even a competition, you lose horribly. Grinning, and pleased with himself the man takes the bag and turns to leave. Ashamed of your results, you run after him, drawing your blade, and cutting him down on the spot. You quickly look around, then take the bag, and any gold on him. [Gain 150 GOLD] [Unfortunately a soldier did see the event, Army MORALE goes down].

OR

---No 1: You realize the man must be no match for you, and turn him down. Annoyed, he tries to persuade you again, by throwing another bag along the other. This one is even larger, and the jingling of coins resounds even louder than the first. But still you turn him down, telling him, that you wish not for him to shame himself. Angrily, the man stamps off. [Nothing happens]

---No 2: Realizing you need the practice but also realizing your tired state, you reluctantly turn him down. Unhappy with your answer he challenges you to a duel if not by bow, then by sword, halberd, or any other melee weapon. You take him up on the duel option, and quickly dispatch him. His maimed legs remain unable to support him, and he drops to the ground, spilling blood everywhere. Rumors and exaggerated tales spread through the city of your duel with the archer, and your men are more confident to have you leading them. The people are also more confident to have a general like you on their side.
