Yes, there's rarely the kingdom where a PC is useless. The situations for that are so rare that it just won't happen.

Command And Judgement are always needed for governing, and Intelligence is a must have for development and KT ploys.

If you're pure might, that's a bit trickier, but all you need to do is take Smith I, and any ruler will drool. =P Training might be useful too.

And for Cha characters, well...that's probably the (relatively) most likely case to edge towards uselessness, IF you're in an already heavily NPC loaded kingdom. Otherwise, you can probably recruit the hell out of anything. =P

Eitherways, NPCs will usually get fired first before PCs, anyways...And there's quite a few of them.

Hmm...Just a thought.

Well, with regards to PA...why not just make the numbers random?

I mean, you can't fully customize your follower, right?

Just make a random roll for a certain range of troops you get, a roll in a range for training, and a roll in range for which armaments and how many of each (Yes, to compensate for the randomness, you get more than one armament type, but it's just random. =P)

You even get to specify your PA's focus, whether Melee or Support. =P

And there you go...

You need enough cities/towns to substain so many officers. Hence, if there are no progression in territory but officers keep joining, I do see a problem there.

per the posts in the rules questions thread, i would suggest a way to tweak the duel rules so that if you're fighting on foot and disarmed, you can pick your blade back up.
perhaps make it similiar to drawing another blade in that it takes an action.
also, why is there a ranged attack during a foot duel? its not as if a battle on foot between two people has them charging at each other like on horseback.

Since some player could have multiple account (even if it is not honest and legal...) it is very easy to get recruit by a ruler and have a free spy that can take all the info they need... I think we should restrict at least the KT to the one the ruler choose. It is something to be part of an army but it is something else than having all the military and civil information on that kingdom...

I think it is normal to have someone that could be hire to spy on you but once he his hire in a kingdom he could say that he spy so he will have some information that you cant have when you do a regular spy in your KT...

Meh, Gongshu's cruddiness could be fixed by moving Disarm to the Ranged section, and upping its success rate, and moving Dual Shot to the melee section. =P

Also, allow remounting after Unseat Opponent. =P lol.

Takes an action though...and makes you vulnerable even more than if you were on foot, for when you are remounting...=P

Shoot em in the arm?
Eh, I think disarm should be at melee myself. I just think there should be options to reequip a lost weapon is all. Least when on foot. It's a little harder to pick up a blade off the ground when on a horse!
