No, more like "Ew, those 80's bands."

Why is Kansas so far up? D:

Why is there no Skynard? David Bowie? I don't even recall seeing Queen.

This is blasphemy.

Kansas just has a few songs that I like a lot. Um, I don't like Lynyrd Skynard much at all...besides Free Bird. I like a song or two from David Bowie, but not enough to make it on this list. Queen is about the same as David Bowie. I like their best stuff, but as a band overall I don't listen to them.

Lynyrd Skynard came to our fair a few years ago. The place sold out (which only happened one other time, the next year, when ZZ Top came). The opening band for Lynyrd Skynard was Kansas, heh. I was told they were pretty horrible, though. You'd think they'd be getting very old by now.

Apparently our Winamps are very similiar. I have a vast array of different songs on my computer and much of what you had I also have. I may even have the same person as Michael W. Smith, if it is the same as the Robert W. Smith who does the orchestrals like The Great Locomotive chase and Inferno, though that seems unlikely.

The ones I like:

50. Depeche Mode
47. Linkin Park
46. Billy Joel
44. Kansas
43. Pearl Jam
41. Bush
40. Collective Soul
38. The Bangles
37. Huey Lewis and the News
35. Mike and the Mechanics
34. Bonnie Tyler
33. Dave Matthews Band
32. Live
31. John Mellencamp
25. Rod Stewart
23. Don Henley
21. Peter Cetera
20. Foo Fighters
19. Genesis
16. Foreigner
15. Metallica
13. Madonna
12. Journey
11. Elton John
9. U2
8. Phil Collins
6. Roxette
5. Bon Jovi
3. Chicago
2. Jars of Clay
1. Michael W. Smith (?)

Liu Bang then asked Han Xin, who had served under Xiang Yu but was driven out, "what is Xiang Yu's weakness? Is there a way to defeat him?" Han Xin calmly replied, "No, Xiang Yu himself is invincible, he is destined to be king."

I never really liked Soundgarden, Pyro. Of course, I can only think of two of their songs off the top of my head now, so maybe I just haven't heard enough :) And if you made a list, that'd be cool. It'd be like the cool thing for people to do, or something, haha.

That is not the same W. Smith :) Michael W. Smith is a contemporary christian singer. I have a couple worship CD's by him that I like a lot, but overall, he's not my favorite singer. Just how my ranking system turned out. Oh, I don't use Winamp, hehe. I am impressed with your outstanding sharing of my musical tastes, though :P

So years ago a friend of mine was in New York and a guy came up to him begging and it was .. Jaco Pastorius. My friend recognized him and Jaco was pretty embarrased - guess the money was for drugs.

He was and is still the greatest bass player to ever live. But like most stars, got caught up in drugs and the like. It's ashame he died so early, only at 35.
