Liangyu took her time getting ready, though it was still done quite quickly, for her maids were willingly assisting her. Soon, she got up, straightened the breastplate out a little as it sat uncomfortably on her frame, then finally, walked to face her opponent, and gave a curt bow.

"So am I, sir. Let us begin..."

And she put one foot back a bit, ready to go...

Po Hu is an imposing man. He comes to this particular city on foot. He leaves a trail of footprint that is imprinted deep into the ground. He has a duffle over his right shoulder as he arrives at the gate. "I am Po Hu. I wish to speak to Xia Gongzhu, who wrote me a letter."

Eventually the princess and the barbarian find a room with cushions. The barbarian sits and scratches himself while waiting for the king.

Stepping up to the nearest guard, "Humble peasant Jing Yun seeking Xia Gongzhu's audience. I am here on her invitation." Subsequently Jing Yun fetched out the letter and give it to the guard. Jing Yun remembered one day while he was loitering around in one of the many towns of Huainan province. When a mysteriously man dropped a letter to him after ascertaining Jing Yun's identity.

"Well, lemme check that over..."

The guard fiddled with the letter, before nodding,

"It's legit. If you want to come on inside, you'd have to leave your weapon here, unless you think you could amuse the princess with a practice duel. She loves a good spar and the ring of blade on blade is something she adores as a pasttime. Otherwise, any weapons stay here..."

Once Master Jing had decided, the guard ushered him inwards to the grand palace of the King of Xia. They found Liangyu in her study, tying up her hair after it had been ruffled by the two little beasts at her feet. Blushing in surprise as the two entered, she giggled, and said,

"Oh, hello...I wasn't expecting a guest. These two little monsters ganged up on my hair. Silly things. Anyways, who do we have here?"

The guard bowed,

"Master Jing Yun, ma'am. He recieved one of your letters..."

Liangyu nodded, and dismissed the man, then signalled to a maid,

"I think refreshments for us two would be nice."

Turning back to the man, she said,

"I trust the trip here wasn't too hard, Sir Jing?"

a young man with a long beard wearing a robe over half his armor,comes strolling up to the gate of the city with a letter in his hands.

"Hail guards i am Rou Jang and i have received this letter from one Xia Gongzhu ....she apparently wants to be my friend or something."

Jang started to stoke his beard and he chuckled to himself.

Once this was done, he turned to the East wing of the royal palace, and brought him to a rather simple room, decorated with some of the princess' older armour and weaponry, and asked to sit on one of the large cushions beside a table.

Liangyu herself came in with a train of maids attending her just moments later. She giggled,

"Well, hello. Master..."

A maid reminded her,

"Po Hu, ma'am."

"Ah, yes, Po Hu!"

She moved to sit down in front of him, rather dwarfed in size by the big man, then asked,

"So good of you to visit on this fine day. Would you like refreshements before we discuss my note?"

A tall willowy man makes his way to the gates of the audience hall dressed in expensive clothes of exquisite quality in a dark blue colour. His face shows his good breeding and its composure makes it seem almost a mask. Arriving at the gates he looks at the guards with something like disdain. Reaching inside his satchel he produces a perfumed letter and presents it to the guards.

"I am Ying Angdun, I was asked here by the Princess Xia, I wish you to escort me to her, I am unarmed but i suppose you can search me if totally necessary."

She giggled at the thought of her Father slaying people, then shrugged,

"Well, I can both sing and slay for him. Us Chinese believe in being versatile, you know."

With a chuckle, she sat down, and said,

"Now, I don't know where he is. He's usually sitting in the main Audience Hall. Which if I remember right, was two rights, a left, forward a bit, right again, then three lefts, then forward a long ways, then right, then left, then right again..."

She shrugged again, and noted,

"As for us, we just went straight, so...Wait..."

This room was awfully large for just another sitting place...

"This is the...Oh..."

And there he was, the King of Yin on his throne, staring curiously at his daughter as she chatted with a barbarian.

"Oh, hey Father! I got lost looking for a place to sit...But this is a good thing, because this fellow here is looking for you! So I...guess...I didn't get lost after all...Umm...did I?"

"Hail guards i am Rou Jang and i have received this letter from one Xia Gongzhu ....she apparently wants to be my friend or something."

Jang started to stoke his beard and he chuckled to himself.

"I'm not sure the lady needs another friend. She has hundreds already, but I guess if that is her wish, then it is my command. Let me see the letter..."

And he checks this, then nods, before saying,

"Well, if you wish to meet her you'd need to leave your weapon here. I think she's with her Father right now...in the throne room. Would you like to head there?"

"I am Ying Angdun, I was asked here by the Princess Xia, I wish you to escort me to her, I am unarmed but i suppose you can search me if totally necessary."

"Ah, no necessity. The Princess Xia is with her Father in the throne room. We'll take you to her, if you wish. They're probably discussing some family business, so it might be a bit of a wait..."

And with that, he is led to the waiting area, for Lord Xia to allow inside when he was done talking to his daughter...
