A small tide of people came to the gate of this town. Xu Ping is leading them.

I am Xu Ping. I'm looking for Lady Shen Ling, who invited me to come here.

Bao Deng: I am Bao Deng, of Jiancheng. I have a message for Lady Shen Ling.
Shen Ling came out of the palace and answered.

Shen Ling: Yes? I am Shen Ling.

However after he spoke of that, he became rather uptight saying something that he do not wish to offend the King of Chu. I was rather curious at that time why he would say that. But now hearing what you say about the King of Chu's disposition towards my Lady.... Now I understand."

Jing Yun tapped his fingers on his knuckles, "I like to speculate that Xia Xi feels restrained by the treaty he got with the King of Chu, sooner or later their relations will be strained further. Of course, with careful planning and plotting... the King of Chu can be mislead to think badly of the King of Yin. Perhaps he will take the first step against the King of Yin and you can be the fisherman waiting to collect the harvest from what is left of the King of Chu. I would still think the alliance between Yin and Huainan would be the perfect match in this time of chaos."

Jing Yun smiled and bowed, "My apologies for giving unsolicited suggestions in your presence, my lady."
Yi Lian gave it a thought, and then paused, "I'd rather make friends than enemies, as always. If King Xia of Yin wish to be in alliance with us, I'd more than welcome that. However, open friendship with me would mean he would come in full rebellion with King of Chu... This is a delicate issue."

After thinking a little, she asked, "How do you propose a solution to this?"

Xu Ping is here to help Shen Ling. He didn't need another word.

I am. I'll do what I can. I'm not strong, but I can convince people to fight for you. I know you'll be a good leader.

Yi Lian looked at the visitor as the servant went away to take care of the wine. She thought about the question and then posed it at the visitor, "Master Po, I understand that you are a man who has the knowledge on the battlefield. If I may ask, what type of strategies do you pride yourself on?"
Po Hu thought carefully of the answer that he was going to provide. This girl goes straight to his strong points. So he was happy to oblige. "I specialize in the Melee Layer command. I am able to scan across the battlefield to see where the command line is broken down and exploit it, whether it be charging into the fray, or raiding the supplies of the enemy. I am not overtly strong, though I am strong enough to hold my own on the battlefield. I am a capable commander in aiding my fellow subcommanders. If you allow me to do so, my army will be a formidable force."

Jing Yun pondered seriously for awhile, "My lady, there is many solutions to a problem. That goes the same for this. Both houses have a positive perception of each other but was hindered by one man's opinion. However, one of the house is rather particular about the views of this man... a tricky situation but with many solutions viable."

Jing Yun starts to pace around, a habit he always do when he is thinking of something. "We could use the most primitive way and yet most effective plot of spreading rumor. To misled the King of Chu to think that the King of Yin is talking behind his back or making him think that the King of Yin is spreading malicious lies about him." Jing Yun smiled, "This may not be seem 'honourable'.... but in this world where the strongest survive. Like the great strategist Sun Zi ever said, 'All warfare is based on deception. There is no place where espionage is not used.' I believe if with careful planning, the plot will work."

[Kim, tomorrow I am going for my national reservist. 7th Oct - 24th Oct. I will only know my deployment on the day. So I have no idea do I get to go home or have stay in camp. If its the latter, I can only get back to your RP post after 24th Oct.]

A small group was seen riding toward the city. As the group grew closer it was revealed to be an officer wearing the colors of Chu with a small escort. Eventually the rider reached the gates and, holding up a hand to the guard, dismounted and approached a guard.

Instead of speaking directly to the guards he removed a scroll from his saddlebag and a took two boxes from one of the guards and placed them on the ground. Opening the scroll he read:

"The King of Chu, Chen Sheng, has executed one Shen Ling of this city and one Cui Hao by the slow process. Their heads are delivered here as a token of the fate that awaits all bandits who attempt to oppress the people of Jiujiang."

The party then prepared to leave.

On an early morning in February, a small sack is left at the foot of the gates to the late Yi Lian's audience hall. Inside, the first guards on shift find a seal of office, accompanied by a scroll.
To the Heir of Yi Lian's Territories,

It's a known fact that I, Mao Song, have worked diligently under the Marquis Yi Lian, even up until her recent death, of which has only just reached my own ears a couple days ago. I was one of her loyal friends, making sure the foundation of the armies was strong, and overseeing various tasks of others. However, with the passing of my Lady, and no blood heir on the throne, my obligation is six feet under, and I'm due to return to a simpler life. I wish good luck for the heir to Yi's armies, but I cannot say how much that can help.

Put simply, don't lose everything within the month; make what's left last, or Yi's going to hate it.

Sincerest Regards,
~ Mao Shewan, District Manager

P.S: I'm not all that greedy, so I left the seal for my position with this scroll. If you don't find it, it's your choice whether or not to search. Either way, just leave me alone.
In plain Chinese, Mao Song has departed [Insert Heir]'s King/Queendom. Break out the wine!

The recent news of Yi Lian's execution dropped like a hailstorm of arrows on Jing Yun. It seems that the world of Jing Yun had becoming darkness once more. The dark side of Jing Yun demands revenge for the lady. But where can he find the actual perpetrator of this? Where will he find the courage?

Jing Yun slowly walks out of the city gates in the looming thunderstorm with flashes of lightning strikes through the sky. His long hair were unkempt and tossed wildly in the wind. One hand clutches his sword and the other a faithful companion to him. Jing Yun raised the wine and drank heavily before smashing the bottle on the ground. Staring to nowhere with fury in his eyes.
