Appearance

Han Shen is a fairly attractive young man at about the average height. He has a narrow face, a sharp chin and a mouth constantly in a frown. He carries himself with a regal poise. He normally wears black scholarly robes and lets his long black wavy hair flow past his shoulders in defiance of conventional scholar dress.

Personality

Han Shen isn't a religious man, instead he views things from a realistic perspective. Being social isn’t something he enjoys. sometimes he can be arrogant, and cold or harsh because he lacks sympathy for most people. Despite all of this, he is very open-minded.

Short Biography

Han Shen's was born into a wealthy family of nobility. He was the only, and youngest, child out of 13 to survive into maturity. That was due to a plague that infected and wiped out nearly his entire family. Only his father, mother, two other concubines, and an infant Han Shen survived. He was tutored by many skilled teachers, but most of them quit because they became frustrated when Han Shen would scoff at their ineptitude. He detested the ways he was instructed to obey. So, he began to study independently. So, he indulged in his real interest, military affairs and warfare. At the age of 20 his father was poisoned ans stabbed by an unknown assailant. Shen cared little for the man. He collected his inheritance, the estate was given to his uncle, and he left to buy a secluded house that was large enough to fit all of his earthly possessions. He also cared little about the state of the land until his home was ransacked and desecrated by bandits while he was away. He was then resolved to utilize his talents, having little to lose at this point, and do anything that was necessary to bring enough order to prevent this from happening again, while gaining some profit as well.

The Suhmer

In the distant future, a galaxy far far away, an intelligent species has evolved greatly and achieved a state of transcendence. The species originating from a planet revolving the star Uhmer call themselves the Suhmerians. They have formed highly advanced societies all across the galaxy of "Gigantor", and are the supreme rulers in that part of the universe.

The Suhmerians are proficient in the use of magic in mental and spiritual spheres..a sort of Qi that grants them powers like telekinesis, telepathy, shape shifting, creating illusions and summoning lesser life forms to do their bidding. They are led by a high council consisting of some of the most skilled and learned wizards from their societies selected after centuries of vigorous training and testing. Thus, the elders are the most powerful wizards on the planet and no one can mess with them.

Tiochhgh

Tiokchhgh is a powerful wizard on planet Suhmer who messed with them. The elders that is. For his impudence the council punished him by banishing Tiokchhgh from the galaxy Gigantor. His body was imprisoned in a soulcage while his spirit deported back in time to a far off galaxy on a backwater planet called earth. He was not to return to Gigantor for an eon..which roughly equals 100 earth year or so.

In order to survive on this primitive planet, Tiokchhgh needed a body, a host to settle into or else his spirit would disintegrate into nothingness in a week. He also had lost most of his powers, except magical warps which only work when his host is calm and concentrates well.

Zhang Gus

An ordinary farmer with no interesting backstory living in Chu country-side with his folks. Tiokchhgh uses Zhang Gus as his host and lives quietly for a couple of months before he gets bored with the primitive country life. He publishes and circulates fliers all around the provinces advertising Zhang Gus as a great military commander/administrator in hopes some court hires him. Then he goes drinking.

A Child of the Steppes (234 - 210)

A moment of peace is worth a lifetime of sacrifice. It is perhaps because of this that Maodun's father fought so hard. Maodun was born the second son of Chanyu, a minor Xiongnu cheiftain on the border between the Steppes and the middle kingdom. To preserve his people, Chanyu had to constantly play off the other Xiongnu tribes and the imperial armies. Eventually Chanyu secured a position for his people as part of the border guard. The tribe fought nearly every month in some capacity. The tribes warriors were slowly being decimated. When Chanyu requested leave, his people lost their status as border guards and were abandoned to the tribes they had fought so long against. In a short while, Maodun's tribe was constantly being attacked. Maodun fought alongside his father, learning the ways of war.

The tribe could not last however and it was finally defeated by an alliance of several other tribes. The people were slaughtered. Maodun and a few others survived because they had been on patrol. They left the steppes for good, instead turning south to the middle kingdom where the world was ripe for the taking.

Recent (210- Present)

Maodun took to a life of petty banditry and mercenary activities to sustain himself. At various points he had managed to raise a sizeable force of bandits but the bands never lasted long. He yearns for glory and gold.

Lady Yuè Tùzi, a bright and well respected Daughter of General Yuè Lei and Lady Yuè Meili. Yuè Tùzi was born in the light of the full moon during the year of the rabbit, and was thus appropriately named. Her mother died after giving birth and her father believed the mothers harmonious and beautiful spirit was transferred to his daughter. General Yuè doted on his daughter and raised her as best he could teaching her the importance of education more than the sword, giving her the instruction that he wished that he had. She had a keen aptitude in writing, mathematics, and medicine.
She ventured out of her hometown escorted by Jin Shi, a former officer in her father's army, in hopes of finding a reason for her mother's early death. Instead, Lady Yue discovered the degeneration of towns and cities where it was hard for traveling physicians to visit because of unsafe roads, bandits, and decaying bridges. Instead of learning more about the art of healing, she spent the summer helping make the village structurally safer and cleaner. Upon the first leaves change, there was a significant improvement in health and happiness thanks to the efforts of Lady Yuè. In this, she found her calling to help the populous in engineering and dedicated her youth to maturing this skill under the guidance of many master builders. With an open heart she searches one village at a time to make the world a better place.
