Priceless Roleplay!

Post by Brother Dun »

Have any roleplays that are just too funny to keep hidden?

Or perhaps you've seen something that should be remembered forever?

Well, then you come to just the place!

I am tempted to make this thread, simply because there is one roleplay in particular in my PH that just -has- to be shared. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as Jix and I enjoyed writing it....
Master Kong wrote:Dai Li Ma approached the guards at post at Zhao Xiu's office smiling as he hobbled forward. After looking them over from top to bottom and making sure they weren't cabbages (they were every where these days) he lowered himself to the floor and assumed the lotus position. He started to chant, "Abra Cadabra, Caabra Dara" putting sevre stress on each syllable. Then with great vigor the words became "Kallisti" yet he remained chanting in sets of five syllables in sections of two and three, and the sounds he made changed not at all except in the word they made.

<hr>
Five minutes later he was still there (or was it eight) and things were probally getting a little bit wierd for the guards. Dai Li Ma, though still chanting, opened his eyes and let himself be aware of the world.

Then, he winked at the guards.
Brother Dun wrote:The guards, rather dumbfounded by the strange man's ways just sat and watched him for a few moments as he started his chanting. About a minute into it, when they figured out that he wasn't going to be coming out of it any time soon, one of the guards left to go get some refreshments.

Whilst in the kitchen, the guard chatted about the strange man with one of the kingdom chefs, and, after eating part of a loaf of bread and a cup of wine, he went back to his duty, bringing the rest of the bread with him, and the remainder of the wine, which he promptly shared with his buddy.

Meanwhile, the chef went on to gossip about this man and convinced several of his cohorts to go and check it out. And so, several of the chefs began to leave the kitchen. As they were leaving, they ran into one of the palace servants. The servant, curious as to where the men, six in all, were going, asked the chefs why they were all leaving at once. The original chef quickly spoke about the strange, crazy old man to the passing servant and then led his cohorts down to the office of Zhao Xiu.

About the time the chefs arrived at the office and met with the two guards, the servant with whom they had spoken to was in the servants quarters, informing the rest of his ilk about this strange old man outside of their lord's office. The other servants wanted to go see this strange old man, and finally the original servant consented, and a group of no less than seven servants began to make their way towards the office of Zhao Xiu. As soon as they left the servants quarters, they promptly ran into Chengquan Xiang. Now, Chengquan Xiang was always a man of curious backgrounds to begin with, and of course, this large group of servants caught his eye. Using his authority as an officer of the kingdom, he quickly found out about the crazy old man chanting mystical spells outside of the office of Zhao Xiu. After finding what he needed, he sent the servants on their way.

Roughly at the same time as the arrival of the gaggle of servants to Zhao Xiu's office, Chengquan Xiang had run into the brother of Zhao Xiu, Zhao Shi. He quickly told the teenager about the crazed mystic casting spells and trying to break down the door to the office of Zhao Xiu, he also informed Zhao Shi that he intended to go see what in the world was going on. Zhao Shi thanked Chengquan Xiang for informing him about this mad man and sent him on his way.

As soon as Chengquan Xiang had arrived on the scene, Zhao Shi had made his way to the room where the Captain of the Palace Guard, Ben Jun, and several of his men were. He quickly informed the captain of the evil sorcerer that was slaying men with his magic left and right and was currently battering down the door of his brother's office with spells, and urged him that they had to act to save his brother. Ben Jun, being the veteran of many battles that he was, and a man who hated mystics, immediately ordered his men to draw their weapons, and the group of armed men, eleven including Zhao Shi, stampeded their way through the palace towards the office of Zhao Xiu.

Along the way, word had spread that the palace guards were charging hard towards the office of Zhao Xiu and many of the court officials, servants, and a couple of extra guardsmen made their way towards the office of Zhao Xiu to no doubt see the titanic battle that would erupt outside the office of their lord as the mighty and righteous Ben Jun took on an evil mystic whom was holding their lord captive with his vile spells.

By the time that the men under Ben Jun and Zhao Shi had arrived, as well as the large herd of courtiers, servants and guards, the lord of Xindu could hear quite the commotion coming from outside of his office. Wondering what in the hell was going in that it would seemingly have drawn the entire population of Xindu to his door, he rose up from his desk and strode to the door. There, he grabbed his spear, which was leaning against the wall to the left of the door, he cautiously swung it open to be greeted by the site of almost every single person in his palace, all pushing and shoving their way to see what it was that was crouched before his office door. And that is when he noticed the chanting Dai Li Ma, who, at that moment had just finished chanting and gave the lord of Xindu a wink.

The crowds had gone silent as soon as Zhao Xiu swung open his door, waiting for him to speak. Finally, he looked at the crowd once more and then back to Dai Li Ma, "Minister Dai, Captain Ben, Brother? What the hell is going on here?"
