Nodding in comply to the guards request, he quickly stripped himself of his own smithed Jiang, handing it to the guard immediately. After doing so he was escorted by ten guards, though he thought this a little much he merely kept quiet and followed them in the chamber of the King. As he stood before his majesty, Xiang Jun, Dios bowed formerly and slowly raised back up to look upon the king.

"I am your lordship." Taking another bow Dios Xang quickly looked back to the king, nodding in compliance.

"It was a small distance from Chu, and the weather was on my side so it was a rather fruitless journey." He replied back firmly. "I have come to you today to join you your lordship, for I have been offered many things by foreign rules across the provinces, and met with each of them, and I must state that their offers do not compare to that of yours sir. So today I humbly join your service."

Dios Xang nodded in approval, backing away slowly from his majesty. "Thank you noble lord, it will be an honor fighting under your command." With that the middle-aged smith legend took his leave with the attendants.

Crim wrote:Xiang Jun listened intently as the Envoy explained the situation in Huainan. The King smiled faintly, but shook his head in the end.

"Your liege has two options as do I," Jun said, tapping his fingers as he did so. "He can either submit to the rule of Chu and Jiujiang and consequently, brand Lin Xin his enemy. Or, he can continue his dealings with the dog of Yue and earn the renewed ire of King Chen She and myself."

Xiang Jun stood and walked past his Chief Aide, Ziu Yenza. His gaze fixed on the far horizon to the northeast, the King spoke. "For my part, I have to consider the proposition given by Duke Xiang Kai - to cede in his favor control of both Huainan and Wu and attack your lord's holdings in concert with the men of Liang. Opposite this option is that which will shower pity on your lord's domains, take him under the mantle of protection of the alliance between Chu and Jiujiang and exhaust all means to ensure the survivability of Jiang Sei's remaining holdings in the South."

Jun turned to face the Envoy. "Ally with Lin Xin and we shall help Liang conquer Huainan; help us conquer Lin Xin and we shall defend Huainan from Liang," the King said. "I'll give your lord a month to decide, Envoy. His failure to act on the matter will seriously prejudice not only his standing in my Court but the very mandate that was passed to him by the whore that was Yi Lian."
Jin: You have my thanks King Xiang. I will extend your request to my master and be assured you will have the response within the time alotted. By your leave, your majesty and I will return to my master to inform him of our conversation.

The envoy respectfully bowed his head and prepared to depart unless kept by the court.

"As I was struck in awe when I first heard your feat in Xiangcheng. The months I spent administering the city were filled with the tales of mothers to their children about how you brought the city's former administrator to his knees in a magnificent duel," Jun said, recalling the tales that were in fact pervasive in Xiangcheng at the time. "Tell me, Marshal. How are things in Chu? I've heard that the King have been distraught over some misunderstanding with Yin?"
OOC: Sorry, I was really busy this past week.

Si Yong Deng took in the compliments and stored it all in his head.

Si Yong Deng: Yes, it was a fair duel. I only wish for the chance to go back out to the battlefield and put my skills to the test. As for Chu, it has been much calmer knowing that your treacherous kin are slain, and I personally thank you for that. You are a much greater person than I. As for Yin, I heard that there was some misunderstanding with Yin. However, it is outside my jurisdiction, so I do not know much.

OOC: I'll assume that your servants picked up your horse, so you can use it whenever, or give it to one of your officers or something.

As Si Yong Deng spoke, addressing Xiang Jun, something ethereal seemed to form behind him. Transparent like a thin film, the thing, whatever was, soon formed into the shape of the now deceased Xiang Liang. With his features distorted by hatred, the ghost of the former patriarch of the Xiang glared at Xiang Jun with undisguised loathing. Before a few moments had passed and enough for Xiang Jun to have noticed and reacted, the figure disappeared back into thin air.

-=Today the red clad precession of the merchant prince Shanghu enters the city of Shou Chun to speak with a king. The lavish palanquin moves smoothly through the crowded streets, a display of wealth and privilege. The brisk morning air snaps the blood color standards marching at the head of the procession, adding a quick snare rhythm to the beat of marching feet.

Arriving at the grand Audience hall of the King of Juijiang, Shanghu exits his palanquin once the step is unfolded. Today, the Grand Merchant is dressed in stunning emerald, sharply embroidered with spun gold thread in the shapes of small taels. A cloth-of-gold sash cinches tightly around his waist, holding his traveling robes closed against the slight chill. Taking his ivory cane from the waiting attendant, Shanghu does not wait for Daiyu to approach, knowing her presence with him is an understood fact.

He steps towards the guards, his attendant scurried forward, his master's ledger clutched in his hand. Shanghu approaches the guards at the gate and smiles pleasantly.=-
"I am Grand Merchant Shanghu. I come to your grand city this day to seek audience with his Majesty, King Xiang."

A man in his thirties arrived at Shouchun, introducing himself as Tian Guo. He had been summoned to the city by the King of Jiujiang, Xiang Jun. After several weeks of mulling over the proposal of the liege of the province, Guo deemed it the most worthwhile proposition among the many he received. With his personal effects, Guo stepped into the city.

"I'm Tian Guo and I'm here to serve Xiang Jun," he said.
