As the cold winds of Yong swept across the roads leading up toward Chencang the army of the Marquis of Yong discovered little in the way of resistance. Though the city was situated well from a defensive standpoint, it seemed Hua Fang and his subordinates dared not challenge the infamous Zhang Han. Departing with most of the garrison, Zhang Han was welcomed into the city by the citizens who for the most part professed joy at his return.

It seems the cowards even failed to negotiate a surrender, probably plundering the treasury as soon as reports of his army came to them. So the rumors had been valid then, after the previous Magistrate's failures followed in the vultures. Well, Han would just have to ensure things would be done properly now.
