A plump man made his way into Chu one day. Speaking in a tone that is perhaps a little high for a man, Mr Fatty enquired

I heard there are some good horses for orders in this part of the world. I work for the city of Jiangcheng, is there someone here who can entertain my queries?

"Yes yes... What can I do for you? Li Jiacheng you say. Just having that name which sounds so rich garners a discount already. What can I do for Mr Li Jiacheng?" Po Huai asked.

My master is requesting a longterm contract with you. He wish to get a comprehensive pricelist and will divert his officers to you when they need a horse. We just need a form of understanding that any officers in his service will be given that price.

The portly man replied.

OOC: PM me a list of the various horse combi, so I can start getting the orders in?

"Well since I am not getting any orders these days due to extreme competition, lets just say i be giving you prices that no one else can beat. Delivery will be base on which horse you want priority. I will start this month if orders are firm." Po Huai said.

At Li Jiacheng's recommendation, Li Zongren decided to pay a visit to the Turf Club. "I am told you are offering good prices for the moment. I have need of a fast horse, for I am the defender of the army's supply line." Zongren had some modest skill himself in the breeding and training of fine horses, and he could tell Po Huai's establishment was a fine one indeed. Jiacheng did well to choose this place.

OOC: looking to purchase a +5 speed horse.

"Well. Since you are part of Li Jiacheng and another Li to begin with, you are entitled to his super discounts. I seem to like the Li name very much, heck if you call yourself Li An, man its probably below cost. Believe me. I must be crazy giving such discounts. I think i am crazy to be honest." PO Huai said.

OOC: as agreed in PM. I will do your horse when civil starts.

After collecting the list from Po Huai, the portly man gave his thanks and promptly shuffled out of the stable.

Yi Guang and Guan Zhuang walked across the sea of grass. To Yi Guang's suprise, he had found he was comfortable with the silence between them. They talked at night around the fire, and practiced with swords until they had built a fine sweat. The blade Guan Zhuang carried was beautifully balanced and cut with a blood channel that allowed it to slide free from a wound without snagging. A talented smith in Wu made it for him and instructed him in maintaining the edge and oiling the metal against rust. The muscles of Guan Zhuangs' arm stood out in ridges as he became more familar with the various martial skills, and with Yi Guang as his sparring partner, his skills improved daily.

The journey to Chu was spent if not in thought then in the peaceful absence of it. To Yi Guang, it was just as he traveled with an old friend and he found it restful. Yi always walked a little ahead or scouted up a hill to see the best route to Po Huai's 'Turf Club.' The young general had a quiet assurance about him, a confidence that could be read in every movement. However, it was not an easy task for Yi to approach strangers especially with the prospect of gold taels involved. When the outcrop of wooden buildings were sighted, Yi Guang sighed with relief. He could see the dust of horses prancing around on display in the outlying training pen and immediately set tracks towards the shop.

"Greetings. You are Po Huai?" Yi questioned. "My name is Yi Guang, General of Wu under Li Jiancheng. I was informed you are to sell me a strong and swift steed for more than a fair price... I have come to confirm this agreement, and place an order." He said, unbuckling a felt bag of gold from around his waist. Guan Zhuang watched the exchange with fascination.

"Ah yes General. I have a long term contract with Li Jiacheng, just being assoicated with him, makes me feel rich. How can I do for you. My policies to him remain unchange, as his general, the benefits are the same. However, I will have to train one horse for your fellow colleague, Li Zongren. So your horse will come after his. Unfortuantely."
