As I see it - Doctor *could* be used in ploy situations. Otherwise, Doctor has no mechanical relevance - which is what they seem to mean by saying "NPCs with the Doctor skill are a relic from the last game, where NPCs could at least tutor you in the skill itself."

It's more likely that cover's a takeoff of something else though, especially given the lack of legs on the scissors.

I tried WoW - and hated it. Too much of a grindfest. Guild Wars were clever about that - make an MMO where 'hitting sixty' isn't the priority, but telling a story is.
